Attachment apparatus for electronic device
An attachment apparatus for attaching an electronic device to at least one appendage of a user can include first and second receptacles that are each configured to releasably receive at least a portion of a respective digit of a user. Each of the first and second receptacles can be configured to at least partially receive the respective digit via relative movement between the receptacle and the respective digit in a first direction, and release the respective digit via relative movement between the receptacle and the respective digit in a second direction that is crosswise to the first direction.
SPINNING ACCESSORY FOR A MOBILE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An expandable spinning accessory for a portable media player. The accessory includes a platform for attaching the spinning accessory to the portable media player or a case for the portable media player. The accessory also includes a skin operably coupled to the platform, a button operably coupled to the skin opposite the platform, and a bearing assembly operably coupled to the skin and to the button. The bearing assembly is configured to facilitate rotation of the button relative to the skin.
Loop for use with a variety of handheld device cases
Disclosed is a loop suitable for a handheld device. A flexible loop is affixed e.g. via adhesive onto a handheld device protective case and serves as a wrist strap for ease of grabbing and prevents accidental drops of the handheld device. A feature for cleaning the handheld device, such as a piece of microfiber cloth, can be integrated on the loop. None of a handheld device's functionality is impaired. A back strap loop is disclosed for holding a device with one hand. Components are highly customizable in regards to color, shape, dimension, print, etc., the overall design of which may help a user to make their handheld device unique, particularly as a promotional item.
Expandable and Transportable Bag
An expendable and transportable bag is disclosed. In one embodiment, a stretchable reusable bag hidden inside a lanyard keychain is now readily available to carry goods in a moment's notice of under 5 seconds. An attachment device enables the Sneakey-Bag to consistently be with the consumer, for example, with the consumer's keys or ID card and can be put away entirely in the lanyard in 3 to 5 seconds.
Mount for wearable devices
A mount assembly for a wearable device including a flexible disc containing a rare-earth magnet for positioning on the outside of the user's clothing, a flexible disc containing a ferromagnetic material (either magnetized or non-magnetized) for positioning on the inside of the user's clothing in magnetic engagement with the first disc, and (attached to, or configured to be affixed to, a wearable device) a curved connector made of a non-magnetized ferromagnetic material for magnetic engagement with the first disc at a desired angle and rotation so as to provide user-selected directional control and ready mounting and demounting of the wearable device.
ALKYNYL SUGAR ANALOGS FOR LABELING AND VISUALIZATION OF GLYCOCONJUGATES IN CELLS
The present disclosure relates to a method for metabolic oligosaccharide engineering that incorporates derivatized alkyne-bearing sugar analogs as tags into cellular glycoconjugates. The disclosed method incorporates alkynyl derivatized Fuc and alkynyl derivatized ManNAc sugars into a cellular glycoconjugate. A chemical probe comprising an azide group and a visual probe or a fluorogenic probe is used to label the alkyne-derivatized sugar-tagged glycoconjugate. In one aspect, the chemical probe binds covalently to the alkynyl group by Cu(I)-catalyzed [3+2] azide-alkyne cycloaddition and is visualized at the cell surface, intracellularly, or in a cellular extract. The labeled glycoconjugate is capable of detection by flow cytometry, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, ELISA or confocal microscopy, and mass spectrometry.
Expandable device for a portable electronic device
An expandable device includes a base having a top side and a bottom side, an expanding mechanism operably coupled to the base, and a button. The bottom side of the base is adapted to engage a portion of a portable electronic device. The button has a top side and a bottom side and is operably coupled to the expanding mechanism. The expanding mechanism is selectively movable between a first configuration whereby the button is disposed in a first, collapsed configuration and a second configuration whereby the button is disposed in a second, expanded configuration. Upon urging the button to the first configuration, the expandable device retains the button in the first configuration, and upon further urging the button towards the base, the button is released from the first configuration and moves to the second configuration.
Wearable and replaceable pouch or skin for holding a portable battery pack
A wearable pouch operable to hold at least one portable battery pack and other power or communications equipment. The wearable pouch includes a main body with a front side, a back side opposite the front side, at least one sealable opening, and at least one opening for at least one lead from the at least one portable battery pack secured within the wearable pouch.
Spinning Accessory for a Mobile Electronic Device
A spinning accessory for use with a socket accessory attached to a mobile electronic device. The spinning accessory includes a bearing assembly sized to receive the socket accessory, and a gripping member carried by an inner surface of the bearing assembly. The bearing assembly facilitates rotation of a portion of the spinning accessory relative to the socket accessory. The gripping member is adapted to securely engage a portion of the socket accessory.
HANDS-FREE ACTIVE USE PHOTOGRAPHIC MOUNTING APPARATUS
A hands-free photographic apparatus includes a shoulder mount positionable on a user's shoulder, a rod operable to balance on the shoulder mount, and a strap connected to an attachment point located on a user's torso and the second end of the rod. The shoulder mount may include a first securement mechanism. The rod may include a first end, a second end, a photographic device mount coupled to the first end such that the photographic device mount is operable to suspend a photographic device from the rod when the rod is positioned on the shoulder mount and the shoulder mount is positioned on the user's shoulder, and a second securement mechanism positioned between the first end and the second end that is operable to engage the first securement mechanism to secure the rod to the shoulder mount. The strap may be operable to counterbalance the photographic device.
