Zero liquid discharge recycling system for PCB FAB, general metal finishing, and chemical milling
A method, system and composition is described for treating waste generated from manufacturing operations including at least one of Printed Circuit Boards Fabrication (PCB FAB), General Metal Finishing (GMF), semiconductors manufacturing, chemical milling, and Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD). The method, system and composition are used to create zero liquid discharge recycling.
PER- AND POLYFLUOROALKYL SUBSTANCES REMEDIATION
The present invention relates to reduction of per- and polyfluoroalkyl compounds (PFAS) in a desired zone of treatment for the continuous remediation of contaminated solids and liquids. In particular, embodiments of the present invention relate to the in-situ treatment of solids and liquids by a particular combination of reagent and conditions. The reagents include an oxidant and a metal catalyst. Disclosed method combines low temperature thermal remediation with chemical oxidation to destroy poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances in-situ. The disclosed methods may enhance destruction of organic contaminants in the desired zone of treatment. The present invention also relates to a method for applying the remediation compositions to contaminated sites and controlling the process by monitoring the degradation event to achieve maximum reduction of PFAS.
Washing systems
A washing system includes a housing, a drain line, and a recirculation line. The housing receives, via a fluid inlet, fresh water during one or more wash cycles of a wash session. The drain line is coupled to the housing and includes a valve and is also configured to receive soiled water from the housing during the wash session. The recirculation line is coupled to and extends from the valve of the drain line and is configured to receive a portion of the soiled water via the valve. The recirculation line includes an integrated fluid sanitizer module configured to at least partially sanitize the portion of the soiled water, and the recirculation line is configured to deliver sanitized water from the integrated fluid sanitizer module to the fluid inlet of the housing.
Method and System for Providing Ultrapure Water With Flexible Lamp Configuration
A method and system of providing ultrapure water for semiconductor fabrication operations is provided. The water is treated by utilizing a free radical scavenging system. The free radical scavenging system can utilize actinic radiation with a free radical precursor compound, such as ammonium persulfate. The ultrapure water may be further treated by utilizing ion exchange media and degasification apparatus. A control system can be utilized to regulate a continuously variable intensity of the actinic radiation.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR WATER TREATMENT
A method for water treatment, wherein the water for treatment is conducted by a conveying device from an inlet to an outlet via multiple treatment stages, wherein at least one of the treatment stages is an oxidation stage in which foreign matter situated in the water is oxidized by an oxidant which is added to the water in or upstream of the oxidation stage, and at least one of the treatment stages to which the water is fed after the processing by the at least one oxidation stage is a separation stage in which foreign matter situated in the water after processing in the at least one oxidation stage is precipitated and separated off by addition of at least one separating agent, in particular of a flocculant and/or of activated carbon.

A method of synthesizing a doped carbonaceous material includes mixing a carbon precursor material with at least one dopant to form a homogeneous/heterogeneous mixture; and subjecting the mixture to pyrolysis in an inert atmosphere to obtain the doped carbonaceous material. A method of purifying water includes providing an amount of the doped carbonaceous material in the water as a photocatalyst; and illuminating the water containing the doped carbonaceous material with visible light such that under visible light illumination, the doped carbonaceous material generates excitons (electron-hole pairs) and has high electron affinity, which react with oxygen and water adsorbed on its surface forming reactive oxygen species (ROS), such as hydroxyl radicals and superoxide radicals, singlet oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, that, in turn, decompose pollutants and micropollutants.

Disclosed is a system for mixing gases and liquids that includes a reactor vessel and an injection assembly. The reactor vessel including a liquid inlet which receives a predetermined amount of liquid and at least one gas inlet which receives a precise amount of a gas. The reactor vessel also includes means for creating cavitation or turbulence for mixing the gas and liquid to a desired gas concentration.
LIQUID TREATMENT APPARATUS
A liquid treatment apparatus includes a water pump and a plasma jet generating device. A liquid inlet of the water pump is immersed in a liquid. A liquid outlet of the water pump is configured to eject the liquid from the liquid inlet out of the water pump without artificial bubbles in the liquid. A gas inlet of the plasma jet generating device is configured to be located out of the liquid. A pair of electrodes of the plasma jet generating device is configured to generate plasma jet by the gas from the gas inlet. The plasma jet outlet is configured to be immersed in the liquid and in proximity to the liquid outlet of the water pump so that the gas is automatically entrained into the gas inlet of the plasma jet generating device when the liquid is ejected out from the liquid outlet.

An electrolysis electrode and a preparation method therefor, an electrolysis apparatus, and a clothing treatment device. The electrolysis electrode includes a substrate, a transition layer, and an electrode catalytic material layer, and the transition layer is attached to the surface of the substrate, the electrode catalytic material layer is attached to the surface of the transition layer, and the thickness of the transition layer satisfies that: electrons can pass through the transition layer. The transition layer of the electrolysis electrode is relatively thin, so that electrons can pass through the transition layer due to a quantum tunneling effect, and thus the electrocatalytic performance of the electrolysis electrode is basically not affected. Furthermore, the transition layer plays the role of transition connection, and can greatly improve the phenomenon of cracks in the electrode catalytic material layer.
