A length of material having a first side and a second side has at least one secondary magnet. Length of material is fixed to a larger object such that at least one secondary magnet is facing away from the object. To store one's glasses, the wearer places the frame of the glasses proximate primary magnet against a secondary magnet so that the glasses are held magnetically (by way of magnetic forces) to the length of material and, in turn, to the larger freestanding object. The glasses can be removed and stored in this manner repeatedly.
