Eyewear or glasses with a frame having a frame front and two temples. Frame front has a bridge between two sides. At least one primary magnet is embedded in frame of eyeglasses. A length of material having a first side and a second side has at least one secondary magnet. Length of material is fixed to a larger object such that at least one secondary magnet is facing away from the object. To store one's glasses, the wearer places the frame of the glasses proximate primary magnet against a secondary magnet so that the glasses are held magnetically (by way of magnetic forces) to the length of material and, in turn, to the larger freestanding object. The glasses can be removed and stored in this manner repeatedly.

There is provided a carrier, for carrying one or more personal articles on any part of a garment, comprising a patch, configured to be temporarily attachable to the inner side of the garment and including one or more magnets, configured to hold attached to the outer side of the garment at least one article or articles holder that may be attracted magnetically. There are also provided holders, each formed to hold one or more of the articles and configured to be temporarily attachable to the outer side of the garment and to be magnetically attracted to any of the magnets. Any of the holders may include one or more magnets, configured to be attracted to corresponding magnets in the patch. Any of the holders may be formed as a pouch or a pocket.

A carry case for an electronics-enabled eyewear device, such as smart glasses, has charging contacts that are movable relative to a storage chamber in which the eyewear device is receivable. The charging contacts are connected to a battery carried by the case for charging the eyewear device via contact coupling of the charging contacts to corresponding contact formations on an exterior of the eyewear device. The charging contacts are in some instances mounted on respective flexible walls defining opposite extremities of the storage chamber. The contact formations on the eyewear device are in some instances provided by hinge assemblies that couple respective temples to a frame of the eyewear device.

A device incorporating both a magnet and a living hinge may be employed to construct cases to protect electronic devices and to function as a closure for cases and lidded containers. Such cases often can be bent three 360° allowing the cases to be either closed protecting devices therein are closed upon themselves allowing the case to function to secure an electronic device to a substrate such as an article of clothing. The devices of the disclosure can also be used to organize and hold loose items together.

A carrier pouch includes a pouch section, and a carrier attachment assembly coupled with the pouch section. The carrier attachment assembly enables a wearer to carry the carrier pouch with hands-free mobility, and includes a rigid assembly and a number of elastic bands, with the rigid assembly being elongated and having a proximal end and a distal end as extremities thereof. The distal end of the rigid assembly comfortably tucks in an inner side of a waistband of a garment worn by the wearer. The number of elastic bands extends across and over or under the rigid assembly to enable positioning of the carrier attachment assembly coupled with the pouch section on a limb of the wearer or the waistband of the garment. The rigid assembly is movable outside or inside the number of elastic bands to attach the carrier pouch on a waist or the limb of the wearer.

A padded glasses clip apparatus for preventing misplacement or damage to glasses includes a clip body comprising an upper clip and a lower clip pivoting on a pivot rod between a closed position and an open position. A torsion spring is coupled to the pivot rod and engages a clip inner side of each of the upper clip and the lower clip to bias the clip body towards the closed position. A pair of pads includes an upper pad and a lower pad coupled to the clip inner side of the upper clip and the lower clip, respectively. Each pad extends between the pair of pivot ears and the grip portion. The pair of pads safely secures a pair of arms of a pair of glasses.

An eyeglasses headband assembly includes a pair of eyeglasses that has a frame and a pair of arms each pivotally coupled to the frame for wearing on a user's face. A headband is pivotally coupled to the pair of eyeglasses and the headband is positionable in a stored position having the headband extending forwardly along the arms and across the frame. The headband is positionable in a deployed position having the headband extending upwardly from the pair of arms. In this way the headband can be positioned to extend across the user's head when the user is wearing the eyeglasses. Thus, the headband can keep the user's hair from falling across the user's face.

The present invention includes an apparatus and a method for retaining eyeglasses on a remote panel with a holding element positioned on the remote panel and a temple element positioned on the eyeglasses.
