Container Carrier Apparatus and Methods of Making and Using the Same
The present disclosure relates to a carrier apparatus primarily for carrying containers having food products therein; but secondarily for carrying containers having any type of products contained therein. Specifically, the carrier apparatus of the present invention allows a user to transport various amounts and types of containers securely, minimizing disturbance to products, such as food products, contained therein. More specifically, the carrier apparatus of the present invention comprises a first configuration for carrying a first amount of containers and a second configuration for carrying a second amount of containers.
RING HOLDER/SUPPORT FOR PORTABLE DEVICES AND CARD HOLDERS AND METHOD
Ring support/holder attachable to either a portable device or a card holder for a portable device. The support/holder includes a main attaching portion that utilizes an attachment surface, an outer circumferential surface, and an axial length that is less than a diameter of the outer circumferential surface. A ring is mounted to the main attaching portion and is capable of moving between a retracted position to an extended position. In the retracted position, an inner circumferential surface of the ring surrounds the outer circumferential surface. In the extended position, the inner circumferential surface does not surround the outer circumferential surface.
Intelligent asset detachment sensor system
An embodiment of an intelligent personal device detachment sensor apparatus and system for a lanyard, belt clip, pocket clip, or other worn device for displaying a security device, such as an identification and/or card or badge on an individual user. The device is particularly useful for monitoring the presence of the card, badge or other small asset, with many of such assets employed at security, environmental clearance, and access checkpoints. The apparatus consists of two parts, a user holder and an asset holder, held to one another in a docked condition using a permanent magnet of the asset holder attachable to a permanent magnet on the user holder. The user holder has a switch (e.g., a mechanical switch), an alarm device to produce an audible signal to the user, and a transmitter that transmits an alert through a network.
Multifunctional card holder
The present disclosure provides example multifunctional card holders as well as systems and methods for manufacturing the same. An example multifunctional card holder may comprise: a transparent screen that is attached to a back piece, a spring inside a card holding space between the transparent screen and the back piece, the back piece; and a clip attached to the back piece outside the card holing space. The spring is of a curvy shape with two ends connecting to the back piece so as to hold one or more cards inside the card holding space by pushing one or more cards against the transparent screen. The clip includes a clip opening configured to be mechanically connected to an item of a user. The clip may also serve as a cash clip with a clip arm holding one or more cash bills against the back piece.
Lanyard strap and link device for displaying name tags
A lanyard strap, link device, for displaying the name of a person, including an envelope, a lanyard, and an integral clamp formed of a lateral tab, and an integral vertical tab, which when folded into closure, provide for securement of the lanyard strap to its envelope for display of the personal badge of the user. The components of the lanyard, link, and envelope, may or may not be formed of biodegradable components.
Reel Housing for Dual Use
A badge reel device is attachable to a user via a lanyard or an attachment clip. The badge reel device includes a housing, a retractable cord partially disposed within the internal volume of the housing and extending through the aperture of the housing for attachment to a badge, an attachment clip on the housing (with the attachment clip being configured for attachment to the user to wear the badge reel device in a first wearing mode), and a lanyard attachment structure on the housing (with the lanyard attachment structure being configured for attachment to a lanyard, for the user to wear the badge reel device in a second wearing mode).
Securement apparatus having a concealed structural component
Disclosed herein is a securement apparatus, such as a lanyard, that has increased tensile strength and shear strength when compared with a conventional securement apparatus. The securement apparatus includes a connector extending from a connector body, a strap coupled to the connector body, and a structural component. The structural component has a tapered geometry such that a first end that is contained within the connector body has a first width and/or height and a second end that transitions from the connector body into the strap has a second width and/or height that is less than the first width and/or height.
Fastener with a constrained retention ring
A holder for a wirelessly locatable tag may include a snap assembly coupling a first element of the holder to a second element of the holder thereby securing the wirelessly locatable tag within a recess of the holder, the snap assembly including a male assembly having a protrusion component, a female assembly defining an opening that is configured to receive the protrusion component, a groove defined in one of either the male assembly or the female assembly, a compression ring positioned in the groove and configured to retain the male assembly to the female assembly, and a compliant member positioned in the groove and providing a biasing force on the compression ring.
Card extraction devices
Apparatuses and methods of operating the same are described. An apparatus may include a substrate that is formed of substantially flexible material. The substrate may include a first portion, a second portion, and a fold line. The first portion may include an inner surface with an adhesive material. The second portion may include an inner surface with an adhesive material. The fold line between the first portion and the second portion which enables the substrate to be folded. The fold line may extend from a location at an edge of the substrate. A bottom part of the inner surface of the first portion and the second portion may adhere to a front and back surface of a card and a middle part of the inner surface of the first portion and the second portion may adhere to an edge of the card.
RETAINER ASSEMBLY HAVING A ROTATABLE, RELEASABLE SNAP BUTTON ENGAGEMENT
An assembly is disclosed, the assembly for providing release structure to a lanyard or strap adapted to be worn on the body, such as a neck strap. The release structure consists of a snap button assembly configured such that the release pull generated by tension in the strap is directed along an axis perpendicular to the closure and rotation plane of the male and female portion of the snap button assemblies. With structure to configure a release pull in such an axis, a safety feature is provided to the wearer such that tension in the strap, when it reaches a sufficient force to overcome the closure forces of the snap button assembly, will release the closed snap button and allow the strap to fall away from the body. Also, as in the case of a firefighter wearing an SCBA fire mask, it prevents the firefighter from being entangled or tethered if the strap were to get accidentally hooked or caught on something. The breakaway will allow the firefighter to continue using the mask with no interruption of breathing air from the mask. In lanyards and tool holders, those fall away from the body. In the case of a firefighter, the mask does not fall away from the body.
