FOLDING KNIFE WITH POCKET CLIP
A folding knife with pocket clip has a knife frame, a flexible elongated resilient pocket clip having a first end connected to the knife frame and a second free end proximate the knife frame, the flexible elongated resilient pocket clip defining a plurality of louvers, each louver defining a slit transverse to the length of the flexible elongated resilient pocket clip and having an elevated edge, and each elevated edge facing toward the second free end. The louvers may be parallel to each other. The louvers may be at an intermediate location spaced apart from the first end and second free end. The knife frame may have a pivot end to which a blade is pivotally attached, and the elevated edges may face toward the pivot end.
Cord Support and Method of Making and Using Same
A support for a hand-operated device is disclosed herein. The support comprises a band having an inner surface configured to surround and contact at least a portion of a user's forearm, and an opposite outer surface, and a cordholder attached to the band, the cordholder having a length extending diagonally relative to the length direction of the user's radius when the band is mounted on the user's forearm. Corresponding systems and methods also are disclosed.
QUICK SLIDE-OUT-TYPE OUTDOOR TOOL POUCH
A quick slide-out-type outdoor tool pouch, which comprises a pouch body used for holding contents; an opening through which the contents are taken out is provided above the pouch body; the rear end of a pouch cover (2) is connected to the pouch body and may be rotated to cover the opening; a sliding band (1) is provided, the tail end of the sliding band (1) is connected to the inner side of the pouch body by means of a connection place (6), and the connection place (6) is located at the inner side of the pouch body at the side connected to the pouch cover (2); a through-outlet (5) for the sliding band (1) to penetrate is provided on the pouch body at the side opposite to the connection place (6); and after being folded, the front end of the sliding band (1) may be inserted into a holding part (3). The quick slide-out-type outdoor tool pouch enables tools to be taken out quickly, which may increase the timeliness with which tools are taken out in emergency situations.
DUAL BAND ADJUSTABLE BELT LOOP FASTENING DEVICE
A dual band adjustable belt loop fastening devices configured to extend between two or more belt loops on a garment and to selectively lessen the distance there between the belt loops to secure the waistline of a garment to a wearer that are also configured to affix/attach item such as holsters, smartphones, or tools thereon or therein while in use.
HOLSTER FOR ELONGATED ARTICLES
A holster comprises an elongated flexible fabric tube woven from fusible yarns. A first part of the tube has a passage for receiving a waist belt. A second part of the tube extends from the first part transverse to the direction of the waist belt-receiving passage, and an opening in the second part enables the second part to serve as a pocket for receiving and holding an elongated article. The waist belt-receiving passage can be formed by opposed elongated openings in the wall of the tube. Alternatively, the waist belt-receiving passage can be formed by bending the tube to form a loop. In the latter case, a portion the tube extends from the loop, through an opening, into the interior of tube and then outward from an open end of the first part. Here, the outwardly extending portion of tube is the second part, and serves as the pocket.
Retention device
A retention device includes a body having a channel disposed in the body, the channel including a substantially linear axis and having at least one arcuate-shaped cross section beginning at a first distal end of the channel. A receiving socket is disposed in the body at a second distal end of the channel, the receiving socket including at least one recessed spherical-shaped section. A continuous slot extends through the body to the channel and defining a substantially linear section from the first distal end of the channel along the substantially linear axis of the channel to the second distal end of the channel. The continuous slot extends through the body to the receiving socket and defines a substantially 90-degree arcuate section from a first point orthogonal to the substantially linear axis at the second distal end of the channel to a second point on the substantially linear axis of the channel.
SPILL-RESISTANT POUCH
A spill-resistant pouch is attachable to a belt and has a pocket having spaced proximal and distal walls when worn on the belt of a user. The pocket has an upper opening for receiving objects within the pouch. The upper opening, when not subjected to loading stresses, normally defines a predetermined dimension extending between the proximal and distal walls, the pocket normally being deformable along the predetermined direction in response to forces applied by objects within the pocket on the distal wall. A rigidifying structure is provided within the pocket for substantially maintaining the predetermined dimension of the upper opening by preventing relative movements between the proximal and distal walls, whereby objects within the pocket are prevented from falling out through the upper opening due to excessive deformation of the distal wall relative to the proximal wall while providing unhindered access to items within the pouch.
CUSTOMIZABLE TOOL BELT AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
The invention is directed to a tool belt that can be used for holding and securing one or more tools or accessories commonly used with in the construction space (e.g., concrete or masonry). The tool belt comprises an elongated strap that is designed to be attached around the waist of a user. The strap includes a closure that allows the belt to be worn and removed as desired. The strap further includes one or more inserts that are added and removed from the belt as needed to customize the belt design. Each insert includes a protrusion that cooperates with a corresponding receiver configured on the belt strap. In this way, inserts can be added and removed from the belt for a particular job as needed by the user.
Portable Multipurpose Utility Container
The present invention is a portable multipurpose utility container comprising at least one compartment or reservoir and a flat handle extending outwardly forming a horizontal or arched wrist support with an aperture for gripping with the thumb or finger. The reservoir has a base, a distal wall, a proximal wall, a left side wall and a right side wall. The reservoir is sized to receive, contain and/or dispense fluids or compounds and to accommodate a variety of hand tools and hardware. The flat handle extends outwardly from the top of the proximal wall, forming a horizontal or arched wrist support section extending outwardly and downwardly having at least one aperture about midway along its length and a locking means near its end for securing said portable utility container during use. The arched wrist support section has a depth greater than the diameter of the wrist of a user and the at least one aperture is sized and ergonomically positioned to accommodate a thumb or one or more fingers of the user's hand for securing the device during use.
CASE FOR TOOL
A tool case includes a pocket for holding a tool. The pocket is defined by a shell, a first interconnecting piece and a second interconnecting piece. The shell includes a flat bottom and a first and second side that extend upwards from opposite sides of the flat bottom. The shell also includes a closable rear access opening. The first interconnecting piece connects a first side of the shell with a second side of the shell at a top of the shell. The second interconnecting piece connects the first side of the shell with the second side of the shell at a front of the shell. A fastener is configured to releasably couple the first side and the second side at the closable rear opening, in a manner that reduces twisting of the case when dangling from a tether.
