The magnetic insert attracts the leading edge of the firearm or the knife thereby allowing the user to quickly recognize the correct position to begin insertion of the firearm or the knife into the holster or sheath without the need to observe the arm movement in the process.
Limited pivot quick connect
A quick connect is provided to releasably connect two objects while allowing a limited pivot motion between the two connected objects.
Firefighter backpack assembly
A firefighter backpack assembly for transporting equipment for wildfire fighting includes a panel that is wearable on a user's back and a pair of shoulder straps each being coupled to the panel for wearing over a respective one of the user's shoulders. A tool bag is coupled to the panel to carry tools thereby facilitating hands-free transportation of the tools when the user wears the panel. A pair of belts is each coupled to the panel to secure a chainsaw to the panel thereby facilitating hands-free transportation of the chainsaw. A storage pouch is suspended from the tool bag to contain a fire shelter.
MULTIPURPOSE HANDS-FREE CARRYING APPARATUS
A multipurpose hands-free carrying apparatus that includes a main body, an upper bracket, a lower bracket, a first support section, a second support section, and a retaining portion. The upper bracket curvingly extends from the main body. The lower bracket curvingly extends from the main body. The lower bracket is positioned proximate to the upper bracket. The lower bracket comprises an aperture. The first support section longitudinally extends from the main body. The second support section longitudinally extends from the main body opposite the first support section. The retaining portion extends from the main body opposite the upper bracket, is resiliently coupled to the main body. The retaining portion is also positioned proximate to the upper bracket opposite the lower bracket and configured to demountably couple the apparatus to a garment.
DUTY BELT WITH COMPARTMENTS FOR MOUNTING REMOVABLE SUPPORT INSERTS
Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a duty belt with a first number of compartments positioned along the length of the duty belt allowing for a second number of removable support inserts to be inserted into the first number of compartments of the user's choice. The duty belt being supportive of loads from objects than can be mounted onto the duty belt having areas in between compartments or portions of an individual compartment not containing removable support inserts Various aspects of the duty belted disclosed herein allow for flexibility in all axis relative to the length of the duty belt making the duty belt supporting to loads and flexible, thereby allowing the duty belt to follow the shape of user's body during movement, and to be folded for storage or transportation.
DEVICES AND ACCESSORIES EMPLOYING A LIVING HINGE
A device incorporating both a magnet and a living hinge may be employed to construct cases to protect electronic devices and to function as a closure for cases and lidded containers. Such cases often can be bent three 360 allowing the cases to be either closed protecting devices therein are closed upon themselves allowing the case to function to secure an electronic device to a substrate such as an article of clothing. The devices of the disclosure can also be used to organize and hold loose items together.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INCREASED OPERATING ROOM EFFICIENCY
Systems, devices and methods to improve safety and efficiency in an operating room comprise providing a suture package that holds new suture needles and needle receptacles for storing used needles. The devices can be safely worn for the surgeon to self-dispense new suture needles in the near surgical field and to secure the used needles into a needle trap or a needle retainer located on his extremity, on his operative instruments or on the surgical drapes. The device may provide automated and/or simplified needle counting both during use and after removal from the surgical field. The device may be configured for ergonomic and efficient use so as to minimize the actions and motions of the surgeon to dispense and secure the needle.
