A hand tool with a lanyard attachment point has a hand tool body and a working side extending along a portion of the hand tool body and has a straight edge. A pin receiving recess in the hand tool body is parallel to and spaced from the straight edge. A channel extends into the working side transverse to the straight edge and intersects the pin receiving recess. A lanyard loop has an elongated, rigid loop body with a lanyard attaching loop end and a tool attaching end opposite the lanyard attaching loop end. The tool attaching end has a through opening transverse to the loop body where the tool attaching end is disposed in the first channel with the through opening aligned with the pin receiving recess. An anchor pin in the pin receiving recess retains the lanyard loop by extending through the through opening of the tool attaching end.

A hand-portable working apparatus has: a working device, at least one handle, and a transport eyelet. The handle is at least partially arranged behind the working device along a longitudinal axis of the working apparatus. At least the handle defines a handle opening, wherein the handle opening extends approximately along the longitudinal axis. The transport eyelet is arranged approximately at or before a front end of the handle opening along the longitudinal axis. At least the transport eyelet defines an eyelet opening, wherein, in an attaching and/or detaching position of the transport eyelet, an eyelet opening normal of the eyelet opening is oriented approximately along a vertical axis of the working apparatus.

A modular spackle knife caddy is an apparatus that houses spackle knives for a user while executing tasks. The apparatus a U-shaped hook, a bracing plate, a primary spackle-knife holder, and a primary attachment mechanism. The U-shaped hook attaches onto a garment. A belt mountable holder and methods of making and using a belt mountable holder including an arcuate member suspendable from a belt disposed about the waist of a wearer and having mateable fasteners disposed on an exterior face of the arcuate member to releasably couple one or more containers to carry articles or tool retainers to retain tools and optionally including a holder support to transfer a holder weight normally applied to the waist of a wearer to a ground engaging surface to remove weight bearing stress from the wearer's waist.

A device incorporating both a magnet and a living hinge may be employed to construct cases to protect electronic devices and to function as a closure for cases and lidded containers. Such cases often can be bent three 360° allowing the cases to be either closed protecting devices therein are closed upon themselves allowing the case to function to secure an electronic device to a substrate such as an article of clothing. A multipurpose hands-free carrying apparatus that includes a main body, an upper bracket, a lower bracket, a first support section, a second support section, and a retaining portion. The upper bracket curvingly extends from the main body. The lower bracket curvingly extends from the main body. The lower bracket is positioned proximate to the upper bracket. The lower bracket comprises an aperture. The first support section longitudinally extends from the main body. The second support section longitudinally extends from the main body opposite the first support section. The retaining portion extends from the main body opposite the upper bracket, is resiliently coupled to the main body. The retaining portion is also positioned proximate to the upper bracket opposite the lower bracket and configured to demountably couple the apparatus to a garment.

A tool system including a handle assembly, a swiveling butt end assembly, a ring assembly, and a tether is disclosed. When using tools at elevated heights there is often accidents involved in which tools drop and possibly injure pedestrians down below. The tool system prevents such events from occurring. The handle assembly importantly includes a swiveling butt end assembly with a ring assembly attached. The ring assembly receives the tether which is attached to a user and to a tool. The tether keeps the tools within reach of the use if there is an accidental dropping. With the swiveling butt end assembly the tether does not tangle or break. The swiveling butt end assembly allows for the handle to freely rotate while tied to the tether. This prohibits tension on the tether to prevent damage to the tether. Also, eliminating the chance of dropping the tool from an elevated height.

A storage apparatus is disclosed to be worn about a waist of a user, the apparatus including a belt member removably securable about the waist of the user, the belt member including a utility box bracket. A utility box can include a base and a lid, the base having a first side and a second side opposite the first side. The first side of the base is removably retainable on the utility box bracket on the belt member and the lid is pivotally secured to the second side of the base. The utility box can be slidably disposed on the utility box bracket.

A detachable latching paint bucket sized to accommodate a volume of liquid may include a container body with a bottom and side walls extending upward from the bottom, defining an interior of the container body; a latching mechanism attached to one of the side walls; and a strap with a connector configured to removably engage with the latching mechanism, such that the container body is designed to swivel with respect to the strap, wherein the strap is configured to removably engage with a user.
