A method, system, apparatus and non-transitory computer readable medium for determining a user's state of oral hygiene including a hollow handle member having an internal chamber to house a fluid cartridge, a head member connected on one end to the handle member to rotate at fixed angular increments, a head platform including at least one bristle platform, an fluid conduit that is disposed within the head member and a fluid cartridge including at least one fluid chamber and a negotiating neck to attach to the negotiating portal, and circuitry configured to detect a brushing motion, identify at least one type of the at least one oral hygiene fluid within the oral hygiene fluid chamber and regulate a predetermined output quantity of the oral hygiene fluid to the moldable shape head via the oral hygiene fluid conduit based on the detected brushing motion.

ORAL CARE IMPLEMENT

A toothbrush includes a handle and a head mounted to the handle. In one aspect, the head may extend from a proximal end to a distal end along a longitudinal axis, the head having a base portion formed of a rigid plastic material and a flexible portion formed of an elastomeric material, a first longitudinal section of the flexible portion spaced apart from the base portion by a gap. The flexible portion of the head may have an upper surface and an opposing lower surface such that within the first longitudinal section of the flexible portion the upper surface and the lower surface are substantially planar and parallel to one another. Furthermore, tooth cleaning elements may be secured to the flexible portion of the head by in-molded technology to extend from the upper surface of the flexible portion.

Oral care implement

An oral care implement having a head that achieves an enhanced cleaning action during brushing. In one embodiment, the invention can be an oral care implement comprising: a handle; a head connected to the handle, the head comprising a base structure having a front surface and an opening in the front surface; a carrier having a front surface and a rear surface, the carrier comprising a plurality of teeth cleaning elements extending from the front surface, the carrier movably supported above the front surface of the base structure so that a gap exists between the rear surface of the carrier and the front surface of the base structure; and a spheroid positioned within the opening so that a first portion of the spheroid protrudes from the front surface of the head into the gap and alters movement of the carrier relative to the head.

IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

An image forming apparatus includes a rotatable photosensitive member and a charging brush. The charging brush forms a charging portion in contact with a surface of the photosensitive member and charges the surface of the photosensitive member. The charging brush is provided with brush fiber including a first type of fiber which is crimped and a second type of fiber which is non-crimped. A ratio of the first type of fiber in the brush fiber in a first portion of the charging brush in a moving direction of the surface of the photosensitive member in the charging portion is higher than the ratio of the first type of fiber in the brush fiber in a second portion of the charging brush positioned further downstream than the first portion in the moving direction.

Oral care implement

An oral care implement is disclosed that comprises a handle and a head. The head comprises a base structure having a front surface. A cleaning element carrier is provided that includes a top surface and a bottom surface. The cleaning element carrier is supported so that the bottom surface of the cleaning element carrier is spaced from the front surface of the base structure. At least a portion of the cleaning element carrier is movable relative to the base structure in a direction towards the front surface of the base structure. A plurality of first cleaning elements are mounted to the cleaning element carrier and extend from the top surface of the cleaning element carrier. A plurality of second cleaning elements are mounted to the base structure and extend from the front surface of the base structure and beyond the top surface of the cleaning element carrier.

Oral care implement

An oral care implement having a head that achieves an enhanced cleaning action during brushing. In one embodiment, the invention can be an oral care implement comprising: a handle; a head connected to the handle and comprising a base structure (130) having a front surface (131), a rear surface (132), an island protruding from the rear surface of the base structure, and a passageway extending through the base structure from the front surface of the base structure to a rear surface of the island; a resilient soft tissue cleanser (170) on the rear surface of the base structure, the resilient soft tissue cleanser comprising an aperture through which the island extends; a mass (180) of a first resilient material positioned within the passageway so that a first portion (181) of the mass protrudes from the front surface of the head and a second portion (182) of the mass protrudes from the island, the island isolating the resilient soft tissue cleanser from the mass; and a plurality of teeth cleaning elements (105).
