Dual head tooth cleaning appliances
Described herein are electronic dual-head tooth cleaning appliances that facilitates simultaneous front and rear surface cleaning of individual teeth. The tooth cleaning appliances or devices can be rechargeable, portable, lightweight and electronic.
Oral care implement having multi-component handle
A method of forming a handle for an oral care implement. The method may include first forming a core structure out of a first hard plastic. Next, an elongated handle body may be formed out of a second hard plastic, whereby during formation the elongated handle body is made to partially surround the core structure, while leaving opposing surfaces of the core structure exposed. Finally, a grip cover may be formed out of a resilient material and positioned over at least a portion of the elongated handle body. The oral care implement handle formed by the method may include a handle having an elongated handle body and a core structure. The elongated handle body may have openings in opposing surfaces. The core structure may be partially surrounded by the elongated handle body while protruding from the openings.
Brush, in Particular Toothbrush, and Method of Manufacturing the Same
The present invention provides a brush including a brush head (28) carrying bristle filaments (6), a brush neck and a handle stem, which are arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the brush, in which a bristle carrier (32) holding the bristle filaments (6) is formed from a hard component (16) and the handle stem is formed from a foamed plastic material (24). In a method according to the invention, a first plastic component (16) is injected into a first mold cavity (14) to form a bristle carrier (32) holding bristle filaments (6), the bristle carrier (32) is transferred to a further mold cavity (22) and, in a further molding cycle, a foaming plastic (24) is introduced into the further mold cavity (22), which foams in the further mold cavity (22).
RETRACTABLE HAIR BRUSH
A hair brush comprising an upper handle defining a cavity between a front surface and a back surface of the upper handle, a bristle cover positioned into the cavity and facing away from the front surface, wherein the bristle cover comprises a plurality of cavities, a bristle pad, wherein the bristle pad is positioned into the cavity and between the bristle cover and the back surface of the upper handle, a plurality of bristles positioned on the bristle pad, a brush body coupled to the bristle pad, wherein the brush body comprises a mechanical means for moving the plurality of bristles of the bristle pad through the plurality of cavities of the bristle cover.
Ergonomic lateral manual sweeping device
An ergonomic lateral sweeping device is described. In an embodiment, the device has a sweeping head such as a broom or rake head, and an elongated pole attached to the head. A paddle is rotatably attached to the elongated pole opposite the head, the paddle being wider than the elongated pole. The paddle has a front surface and a rear surface that extend horizontally and vertically so as to provide an area of contact between an arm and a torso. A handle is attached to the pole between the paddle and the sweeping head for rotation about a single axis with respect to the paddle. The handle has a hand grip to receive a rotational force to control a rotational position of the sweeping head with respect to the paddle, wherein the handle and the sweeping head rotate together with respect to the paddle about the single axis.
Interdental Brush with Nylon Yarn Strands
Some embodiments of the present invention provide a novel, twisted-in-wire type interproximal brush equipped with yarn strands. According to some embodiments, the yarn strands may be formed of nylon filament having compression memory characteristics.
ORAL CARE SYSTEM AND PACKAGING
An oral care regimen kit includes a packaging unit. The packaging unit includes an oral care system, which includes a toothbrush and an oral fluid container, and a clip configured to engage a first portion of the oral care system such that the toothbrush cannot be depressed into the oral fluid container while the oral care system is engaged by the clip.
TOOTHBRUSH
A toothbrush enables an appropriate brushing pressure and includes a sensing portion for sensing that an external force in a first direction orthogonal to the bristle tufting surface exceeds a predetermined value on a rear end side from the bristle tufting surface. The sensing portion changes a relationship between a displacement amount of the head portion when a load is applied to the head portion and a repulsive force generated according to the displacement amount from an increase to a decrease in the repulsive force at a first threshold value. The first threshold value relates to an increase in the displacement amount, and stops the decrease in the repulsive force at a second threshold value. The second threshold value relates to when the displacement amount is larger than the first threshold value.
CARRYOVER TUBE CLEANING MINI-BRUSH
A mini-brush for use in cleaning and clearing obstacles from within a carryover tube in a furnace. The brush having a handle coupled to a first end of a flexible shaft, a guide point coupled to a second end of the flexible shaft, and a plurality of bristles coupled along a length of the flexible shaft, the plurality of bristles having a first side located adjacent to the guide point and extending along the flexible shaft towards the handle. The flexible shaft is a stranded cable wire permitting the guide point and the bristles to navigate a 90 degree corner through a tube
HANDLE FOR A PERSONAL-CARE IMPLEMENT AND PERSONAL-CARE IMPLEMENT
A handle for a personal-care implement has a longitudinal extension extending between a distal end and a proximal end opposite to the distal end. The handle has an outer lateral surface with a three-dimensional surface structure, wherein the surface structure comprises at least two continuous wave bands with alternating convex and concave curvatures forming wave crests and wave troughs, respectively, the wave bands extending along the longitudinal extension of the handle.
