Method of Making Composite Head Safety Toothbrush
A composite safety toothbrush is disclosed, and in particular, methods for making and forming the composite. The toothbrush apparatus detailed herein employs a composite head made from a rigid inner polymer material and a softer thermoplastic material surrounding the inner material. The softer material provides safety for prison toothbrush applications as well as elderly and patient care where care givers may brush the teeth of a patient. Innovative pin connectors in the inner toothbrush head assist in the composite formation. The toothbrush solution herein further importantly provides for a toothbrush having a flexible handle, also providing safety in a prison environment.
Toothbrush
According to an exemplary embodiment, a toothbrush having one or two heads for use in a variety of humans and animals may be shown and described. The toothbrush can have offset heads and bristle areas, include multiple curves of (a) neck/head portion(s) to provide improved access and cleaning ability, and may be separable or combined with other toothbrush elements or components.
Oral Care Implement
An oral care implement used for treatment of a user's oral cavity. The oral care implement may include a body having a longitudinal axis, a first hard plastic component, and a second hard plastic component. The first hard plastic component may have a front surface having a perimeter portion and a central portion that is surrounded by the perimeter portion, the central portion being recessed relative to the perimeter portion. The second hard plastic component may be positioned on the central portion of the first hard plastic component and surrounded by the perimeter portion of the first hard plastic component. The second hard plastic component may have an outer surface with a plurality of grooves that are elongated in a direction of the longitudinal axis.
ORAL CARE IMPLEMENT
An oral care implement having a head and a handle. A plurality of tooth cleaning elements extend from an exposed front surface of the head. The handle has an open thumb gripping passageway extending between an exposed first surface of the handle and an exposed second surface of the handle opposite the exposed first surface. The handle also has a plurality of slots defining open slot passageways from the exposed first surface of the handle to the exposed second surface of the handle. The open thumb gripping passageway may be defined by a ring component that is fitted into an aperture in a body component. The open thumb gripping passageway may be a void space in the handle. The open slot passageways may be elongated along the handle and may serve to reduce a total amount of virgin material needed to manufacture the oral care implement.
COSMETICS BRUSH CLEANING DEVICE
Example aspects of a cosmetics brush cleaning device and a method of using a cosmetics brush cleaning device are disclosed. The cosmetics brush cleaning device can comprise a cleaning pad defining a front pad surface and a back pad surface opposite the front pad surface; and a plurality of nubs extending from the front pad surface, the nubs comprising a plurality of small nubs each defining a first width and a plurality of large nubs each defining a second width that is greater than the first width, wherein the small nubs are oriented in a small nub grouping and the large nubs are oriented in a large nub grouping spaced from the small nub grouping.
BRUSH HANDLE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR MAKING
Examples of the present disclosure include apparatus and methods for making a brush handle assembly. Specifically, the present disclosure is for a brush handle assembly comprising a flexible handle, an intermediate connector, and a ferrule. In particular, the present disclosure is for an improved interface between each of the flexible handle, the intermediate connector, and the ferrule for an improved construction providing increased durability and longevity.
ERGONOMIC HANDLE PAINT BRUSHES
Disclosed herein is a paintbrush with an ergonomic handle to provide increased comfort to the user, in addition to preventing or relieving pain, preventing or relieving repetitive stain injury, or carpal tunnel syndrome, and/or providing greater efficiency in painting over longer periods of time.
Oral care implement
Described herein is an oral care implement comprising a body having a head portion, a gripping portion, and a neck portion located between the head and gripping portions, a plurality of tooth engaging elements extending from the head portion, the body comprising a first component formed of a first hard plastic having a first ductility; and a second component formed of a second hard plastic having a second ductility that is greater than the first ductility.
