The system also includes a case both supporting and sanitizing the various components of the present invention. The case includes a tray supporting the plurality of make-up brushes in accessible positions within the case.
Brushing Device
A brushing device comprises a handle 1 with a brush head 2 at its lower, in use, end. The carrier carries a broom brush 3, which is extensible for sweeping dust, and a rotating brush 4 for picking up swept dust for delivery to a dust receptacle 47. The carrier 2 is a three piece injection moulding, comprised of a front cover 5, a back cover 6 and a central moulding 7. The covers are connected to the central moulding and the each other by conveniently positioned screws in integrally moulded screw bosses that do not need to be separately described, but at least some of which can be seen on the drawings. The central moulding has an upwardly open void 8 between a pair of upwardly extend, converging fingers 9, which engage in slots 10 in a tubular part 11 of a broom brush extender 12.
Bristled component for personal-care applicator
A bristled component for a cosmetic applicator comprising: an elongated carrier having a longitudinal axis; and at least a first plurality of bristles including at least one array of bristles ultrasonically welded to the carrier and outwardly extending therefrom according to a first pre-determined pattern, wherein the carrier and the bristles comprise ultrasonically compatible materials, and wherein the bristles are ultrasonically bonded to the carrier through a direct ultrasonic bond between a surface of the carrier and a lengthwise portion of each of the bristles.
Method of using a bristled toothpick assembly
A toothpick assembly including a toothpick and case within which the toothpick is detachably engaged. The toothpick includes a tapered tip which is generally triangular in cross-section having opposed sides connected by a generally flat bottom and an apex. A bristle array is provided on each side and the bottom and apex are free of bristles. The bristle array is configured as a sinuous or serpentine wave. Bristles in each array are smallest closest to an end of the tip and progressively increase in size as you move away therefrom. The toothpick is movable within the case's bore between a fully retracted, a partially extended and a fully extended position. A locking mechanism selectively locks the toothpick in any of these positions. When the toothpick is to be changed, the locking mechanism is disengaged and the toothpick is slid out of the bore and is replaced with a new toothpick.
Complete oral care toothbrush systems
An oral care system includes a main body, and a brush manually movable between a stowed and a deployed position. The brush includes a head, and bristles having respective first ends attached to the head and distal ends together defining a bristle surface for tooth cleaning in use. A toothpaste dispensing apparatus is carried by the main body and is configured to place toothpaste directly onto the bristle surface defined by the distal ends of the bristles when the brush is in the stowed position. The dispensing apparatus is configured to place toothpaste directly onto the bristle surface defined by the distal ends of the bristles without saturating the bristles at their first ends attached to the head. The toothpaste dispensing apparatus includes a port through which toothpaste is dispensed, and the port aligns with the bristles when the brush is at the stowed position.
Polishing brush and polishing method
A polishing brush (1) includes a plurality of linear abrasive members (32) each formed by hardening an aggregated yarn of inorganic filaments by a resin binder, and a holder (2) that holds the linear abrasive members (32). The linear abrasive members (32) are held by a base (31). The base (31) is secured to a spindle (25) in the holder (2). In the spindle (25), a flow path (28) for discharging a liquid cutting agent toward a side on which free ends (33) of the linear abrasive members (32) are located is provided.
Dual sided cosmetics brush and methods for making same
A two-component brush and methods of providing same, including a method in which first and second bristle portion are each separately glued together at the base, and then the bases are cut into A and B section, and the A section of the first bristle portion is combined with the B section of the second bristle portion. Also included is a method which includes the use of a two-section mold into which first and second bristle portions are placed into first and second mold portions, and the first and second bristle portions are fixed together before being removed. Also included is a dual sided retractable configuration.
Adjustable diameter cylindrical mechanism
An adjustable diameter mechanism includes a plurality of cylinder portions, each of the cylinder portions comprising an arcuate portion of a cylinder and extending along an arc of less than or about 120 degrees of a 360 degree circle and having an inner side and an outer side. The inner side of the cylinder portions are coupled to first ends of a scissors mechanism at a pivot point and a slot of the cylinder portions, the scissors mechanism having a first and a second piece pivotally coupled at a pivot coupling, respective second ends of the scissors mechanism coupled to a respective pair of threaded bolts engaged with a screw having opposing threads meeting at a central point thereof.
HEATED HAIR BRUSH
A heated hair brush (B) comprises heated protrusions (HP): non-heated protrusions (NHP); a control unit (C) arranged for controlling a temperature of the heated protrusions (HP); and a mechanism (FC. SC) arranged for controlling a position of the non- heated protrusions (NHP) relative to a position of the heated protrusions (HP). In a first mode (I). the non-heated protrusions (NHP) extend beyond the heated protrusions (HP), and the temperature of the heated protrusions (HP) exceeds 100? C. In a second mode (II). the non-heated protrusions (NHP) do not extend beyond the heated protrusions (HP), and the temperature of the heated protrusions (HP) does not exceed 50? C. The heated protrusions (HP) may be connected to a first carrier (FC), and the non-heated protrusions (NHP) may be connected to a second carrier (SC).
