Additionally, the removable brush head includes a locking collar, wherein the locking collar is slidably couplable to the stationary portion so as to axially retain the movable portion within the stationary portion while allowing the movable portion to at least partially rotate relative to the stationary portion.
Oral Care Implement, Handle Thereof, and Oral Care Refill Head Therefor
An oral care implement (1000) that includes a handle (100) and an oral care refill head (200). The oral care refill head (200) is alterable between a first state in which it is separated from the handle (100) and a second state in which it is coupled to the handle (100) by inserting a stem (120) of the handle (100) inside of a cavity (221) of the oral care refill head (200). The oral care refill head (200) has at least one alignment groove (250, 260) that receives at least one alignment rib of the stem (120) of the handle (100). Furthermore, the stem (120) and the oral care refill head (200) include snap lock features that form a snap-fit interlock to secure the oral care refill head (200) to the handle (100).
Dispensing hair brush system
A hair brush system includes a brush housing having a handle neck portion and a fluid reservoir for holding a viscous fluid therein. The fluid reservoir is disposed within the brush housing. The hair brush system includes a plunger plate for engaging in the fluid reservoir of a gel or other viscous fluid product. The plunger plate is disposed within the brush housing. Valve devices are dispersed in a brush head, wherein the valves are fluidly coupled to the reservoir upon movement of the plunger plate from a first position to a second position upon engagement of a user.
Tile and grout cleaning pads and tools
A disposable cleaning pad having a grout cleaning brush includes a bristle attachment for use with a disposable pad. The bristle attachment is molded into a rectangular base piece forming a stand-alone removable brush that can be removably attached to a disposable pad. A top rectangular piece of similar dimensions to the base is connected to the end portion of the base by way of a hinge. The ends opposite the hinge have mating clasps that allow for the brush assembly to be securely yet removably fastened to an existing cleaning pad which is then mounted in the normal manner to the cleaning system. The brush assembly enjoys a longer life than that expected from a disposable cleaning pad thus the brush assembly may be reused many times before it needs to be replaced.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A CONNECTOR, HANDLE AND HEAD
A method for manufacturing a handle, a connector, and a head by injection molding at least a part of the handle having a distal end and a proximal end comprising a hollow portion opposite the distal end. At least a part of the connector having an outer lateral surface and a recess therein by injection molding with the recess forming a cavity within the connector. A spring-loaded ball-snap element is provided that with a ball and a spring configured to apply a radial force onto the ball. The spring-loaded ball-snap element is inserted into the cavity of the connector and the spring-loaded ball-snap element is fixed therein. At least a part of the head is injection molded. The connector is inserted into the hollow portion of the handle and the connector and fixed. The ball is extended slightly beyond the connector's outer lateral surface surrounding the ball.
Oral care implement body and replacement head therefor
An oral care implement body to which a replacement head can be detachably coupled. In one embodiment, the oral care implement body includes a gripping portion having a shoulder, a stem extending from the shoulder along a longitudinal axis, and a boss protruding from an outer surface of the stem. The boss may have a locking rib section having an undercut surface that is axially spaced from the shoulder and a positioning rib section extending from the locking rib section to the shoulder. The undercut surface may circumferentially protrude from a first side surface of the positioning rib section. The locking rib section may extend along a first rib axis and the positioning rib section may extend along a second rib axis, the first rib axis oriented obliquely to the second rib axis.
