A hairbrush includes a base with a handle and an elongated end portion connected to the handle. The elongated end portion includes a plurality of slots extending inwardly from a front side surface of the elongated end portion and a cavity extending inwardly from a lateral side surface of the elongated end portion. The cavity and the slots extend in different directions and intersect one another inside of the elongated end portion of the base. The hairbrush also includes a locking bar with through holes extending in the cavity and movable between a first position and a second position inside of the cavity. The hairbrush may further include a plurality of bristle structures, insertable into the slots and the through holes of the locking bar, and selectively coupleable to the elongated end portion of the base by moving the locking bar to one of the first and second positions thereof.

A device for measuring hair properties has a first part (I) and a second part (II) between which hair (H) is guided. The first part includes a measuring probe (MP), and the second part is arranged for deforming the hair against the measuring probe. While the device moves along the hair, the measuring probe experiences both a friction force resulting from the hair being guided along the measuring probe, and a deformation force resulting from hair deformation by the second part against the measuring probe. The second part includes a pressure element (PB, S) for pressing the hair against the measuring probe. In alternative embodiments, the second part comprises alignment elements (AE) at opposite sides of the measuring probe, and guidance elements (G) for mitigating an influence of an angle at which the device is applied to the hair to the friction force and/or the deformation force.

Devices, methods, and systems for a Style Sealer Applicator are described herein. One system includes a refillable reservoir integrated into a hair styling tool to dispense hair care products while styling. In some examples, a reservoir is embedded into the handle of a hair styling device and a spring loaded button pressurizes the reservoir to dispense the hair care product through nozzle applicators patterned with other bristles while styling.

The applicator for applying a haircare product comprises a base 12 and spikes 14 protruding with respect to the base. At least a plurality of spikes 14 each have a cross section of elongate shape in at least one direction of extension. At least some of the spikes of said plurality of spikes are made at least partially of porous material that is able to absorb said haircare product.

A dual-purpose hair styling and retention device including a curved handle having a top surface couplable to a user's head and a bottom surface opposite the top surface, the top surface and the bottom surface forming a hand gripping surface. The dual-purpose hair styling and retention device also includes a base pivotally coupled to the handle, the base having an upper surface and a bottom surface opposite the upper surface, the upper surface including a plurality of bristles coupled thereto. A hairstyling apparatus is shown. The apparatus includes a heated barrel with a central axis. R also includes a heating element connected with the barrel and a hair styling tool extending along a longitudinal length of the hairstyling surface and configured to rotate around the central axis of the barrel, the hairstyling tool including a comb portion comprising a plurality of bristles that protrude in a direction away from the hairstyling surface and a grooved portion comprising a plurality of grooves that expose the hairstyling surface.

Formulation cartridges include a reusable cartridge body and a formulation cartridge refill unit.
