A plug strip is disposed within the sleeve and may be configured to orient the plurality of bristles to provide increased coating performance. The plug strip has opposed sides extending along a central longitudinal axis of the plug strip. At least one of the opposed sides has an undulating surface forming tapered ridges alternating with tapered valleys.
Toothbrush
A manual toothbrush having oral hygiene elements arranged in polygons with an oral hygiene element at each apex, and having plural polygons nested within each other. The oral hygiene elements may be bristles, which may be of two different types, or elastomer elements and may contain tooth-polishing additive. The toothbrush head surface may be flat or may have its region distal from the handle angled up.
Paintbrush with adjustable bristle width, length, angle and shape
A paintbrush with adjustable bristle width, length, angle and/or shape that allows the user to configure the shape of the application surface as desired, thus eliminating the need for painters to utilize multiple traditional paintbrushes with different bristle configurations for different size and shaped surfaces being painted. The invention includes multiple bristle pack segments, elongated guideways, finger adjustment knobs, finger knob slide slots, and a brush slide body housing wherein the mechanisms for adjusting the length of the individual bristle pack segments are contained; is scalable, wherein different overall sizes and widths of paintbrushes can be manufactured which retain the unique adjustability of the invention; can be manufactured with or without a handle, allowing the invention to utilize a wide variety of handles of various materials, sizes and shapes which can be affixed to the bristle slide body housing; is not limited to a specific number of bristle pack segments, elongated guideways and finger knob slide slots; is not limited to specific sized bristle pack segments, elongated guideways and finger knob slide slots; is suitable for manufacturing using various materials; is siutabe for manufacturing utilizing various bristle materials (e.g., Black China, White China, Ox Hair, synthetic materials, etc.); may be modified for use with a self-feeding paint mechanism; is not limited to the purpose of applying paint; is suitable for applying coatings including paint; may be manufactured in various colors; may be manufactured using various graphics.
Head for an oral care implement and oral care implement
A head for an oral care implement has an outer rim and an inner portion. The head comprises at least one tuft of filaments of a first type and at least one tuft of filaments of a second type. The at least one tuft of the first type is arranged at the inner portion of the head and comprises a plurality of filaments, each filament having a longitudinal axis and a substantially circular cross-sectional area extending in a plane substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The at least one tuft of the second type is arranged at the outer rim of the head and comprises a plurality of filaments, each filament having a longitudinal axis and a substantially cross-shaped cross-sectional area extending in a plane substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, the cross-shaped cross-sectional area having four projections and four channels, the projections and channels being arranged in an alternating manner. The at least one tuft of filaments of the second type has a packing factor within a range from about 40% to about 55%.
Beveled Broom and Step-On Dustpan Cleaning System
A beveled broom and step-on dustpan cleaning system including a step-on dustpan having a step-on portion configured to allow a user to collect debris in a receptacle of the dustpan when a force is applied on the step-on portion. The dustpan includes a lip portion which is configured to seal against a floor surface upon a user stepping on the step-on portion to collect debris. A beveled broom having a broom head configured with a beveled or chamfered shape at a functional angle to provide an effective and efficient contact surface to a floor surface to collect debris during use.
Three toothbrush designed to adapt to the 3 different mouth shapes (narrow, average, wide)
Three toothbrushes designed to adapt to the 3 different mouth shapes (narrow, average, wide) is disclosed. The 3 specific bends in the handle make it possible for the brush to stay in contact with the teeth at the corners or bend of our mouth/arch. The unique contour and placement of bristles “hug” the tooth/teeth from the occlusal/incisal all the way to the gingiva, making adaption of the brush NOT technique sensitive. The toothbrush(s) design encourages the proper brushing method used by dental professionals.
Contour-adjustable toothbrush
A contour-adjustable toothbrush is a device that provides a more thorough brushing experience while eliminating the need to remove the device from the mouth during brushing. A first brushing assembly and a second brushing assembly are slidably engaged into a housing handle that may be grasped by the user. The first brushing assembly and the second brushing assembly each include a flexible brush head with a concave surface. The concave surface of the first brushing assembly is oriented away from the concave surface of the second brushing assembly, enabling the first brushing assembly and the second brushing assembly to clean the upper teeth and lower teeth simultaneously. The first brushing assembly and the second brushing assembly are independently adjustable in order to adjust the length of the device. An electronic variant of the device includes a power supply and at least one actuator.
Toothbrush with Enhanced Cleaning Effects
A toothbrush (100) having a combination of tapered and non-tapered cleaning elements (50) for enhanced cleaning effects and having a plurality of tapered bristle tufts of differing tuft configurations including, a first tapered bristle tuft (500) having a dome-shaped bristle tip profile (520) toward one end (210) of the head (200), a second tapered bristle tuft (602) having an arcuate-shaped bristle configuration (622) toward an opposite end (222) of the head (200), and a plurality of laterally-extending third tapered bristle tufts (600) arranged in an alternating fashion with non-tapered bristle tufts (630) and disposed between the first and second tapered bristle tufts (500, 602).
