A brushroll is provided. The brushroll includes a rolling body and a plurality of brush strip sets. The plurality of brush strip sets extend along an axial direction of the rolling body and are arranged at intervals along a circumferential direction of the rolling body. The brush strip set includes a first brush strip and a second brush strip. Both the first brush strip and the second brush strip are protruded from an outer surface of the rolling body, and are continuous along the axial direction of the rolling body. A circumferential spacing between the first brush strip and the second brush strip in a same one of the brush strip sets is less than a circumferential spacing between two adjacent ones of the brush strip sets.

The shoe washing machine also includes a brush provided on the top center of the pulsator, and the brush is configured to be in a shape that projects upward from the top of the pulsator.
