A hair brush comprising: a first half that includes a first brush head connected to a first handle; a second half that includes a second brush head connected to a second handle; a plurality of first bristles and second bristles attached to the first brush head and the second brush head, wherein the bristles are arranged in multiple groups in which each group includes a second bristle surrounded by multiple first bristles; and a hinge that connects the first half to the second half, wherein the hinge biases the hair brush in an open position.

A method and apparatus for producing round brushes having bristles clamped between two wire portions of a folded wire, comprising a feed station and a subsequent finishing station, wherein in the feed station a wire is bent between two counter holders, and the feed station comprises a bristle feed device and a rotatable gripper adapted to grip the bent wire and twist it during the feed of bristles to anchor the bristles in the wire. In the finishing station, the twisted wire is held by a stationary gripper and further twisted by the rotatable gripper. The bristles are then cut on their outer side.

An interdental cleaning tool (2) includes a base portion (10) having a shaft portion (20) and a grip portion (30), and a cleaning portion (40). The cleaning portion (40) has a cleaning portion main body (42) and a plurality of brush portions (44). The present invention is concerned with an electric utility brush having a flexible drive shaft, and in particular an electric toothbrush having a substantially spherical head mounted on the flexible drive shaft and which can be driven rotationally in at least two different orientations in order to provide comprehensive brushing capabilities.

There is disclosed a hair brush. The brush has an elongate body including a utility portion and a handle portion at opposite ends thereof and defining a longitudinal axis. The utility portion includes a back member acting as a support from which brushing protections extend, and defines a first plane and a second plane perpendicularly intersecting the first plane. The back member is flexibly movable with respect to the handle portion on the first plane and the second plane. The utility portion further includes a pair of spines arranged at opposite sides of the back member for controlling the flexible movement of the back member whereby the extent of control of movement of the back member by the spines are either limited to the movement on only the first plane or substantially more on the first plane than the second plane.

A wheel brush and lug nut cleaner having a handle with a rear portion and a front portion operably configured to pivot with respect to one another utilizing a pivot pin with a plurality of grooves disposed along an external perimeter thereof. The rear portion has a spring-loaded release mechanism disposed therein and having an accessible release button and a lock tab in operational communication with the release button, wherein the accessible release button is operably configured to move the lock tab to a disengaged position and an engaged position with respect to the plurality of grooves, the disengaged position operably configured to enable pivoting of the front portion with respect to the rear portion and the engaged position operably configured prevent pivoting of the front portion with respect to the rear portion. A hairbrush includes a main body, a first set of bristles, a second set of bristles, and a handle extending from the main body. Preferably, the hairbrush will have bristle sockets or the like arranged along the main body permitting a plurality of bristles to be inserted into each of the sockets. The bristles of the first set of bristles are substantially longer than the bristles of the second set of bristles. Furthermore, the bristles of the first set of bristles and the bristles of the second set of bristles will be of a different type. The first set of bristles and the second set of bristles can be arranged in a stacked helical pattern around the main body. In other embodiments, the first set of bristles and the second set of bristles can be arranged on flat hairbrushes. In use, the first set of bristles reach to the scalp and lift strands of hair up from the scalp, and the second set of bristles then smooth these strands. The result is to produce volume and luxurious hair.

The present invention pertains to a method and apparatus for cleaning soot, creosote, and other materials adhered to the interior walls of a chimney using a mobile cleaning and vacuuming unit. The apparatus is comprised of a pressurized water delivery system, a vacuum system, a chimney cleaning attachment having a plurality of spray nozzles arranged radially about a central axis, and one or more extensions. The required length and corresponding number of extensions are attached to a pressurized water delivery system as needed to access the chimney interior. The chimney cleaning attachment is mechanically affixed to the free end of the extensions and the device is lowered into a chimney. The water delivery system delivers high pressured water to the nozzle abrade the undesirable material within the chimney. A vacuum system positioned near the base of the chimney removes the water and substances that are dislodged during the washing process.
