Method for producing a coated substrate, planar substrate, comprising at least two layers applied by means of heating, and the use of the coated substrate
A panel like, double-sided coated substrate and a method for production are provided. The panel like substrate includes at least two layers applied by heating, the first layer being applied on a first side of the substrate and having at least a glass component and structure-forming particles, the particles producing elevations on the first layer, and the softening temperature or the melting temperature of the particles being greater than the softening temperature of the glass component, and the second layer being applied on a second side of the substrate.
OVENS AND ARTICLES WITH OLEOPHOBIC SURFACE COATINGS
Certain embodiments described herein are directed to ovens and articles that comprise an oleophobic surface coating on one or more surfaces. In some examples, the coating can be oleophobic and provide easy-to-clean performance for at least ten cycles. Methods used to produce the coatings on the ovens and articles are also described.
Composite material with decorative coating and method for producing same
The invention relates to a method for producing a composite material with a decorative coating, wherein a porous layer that includes pigment particles is applied onto a glass or glass ceramic substrate. The porous layer is filled with a polymer.
WINDSHIELD, GLASS PRODUCT FOR WINDSHIELD, AND ANTI-FOGGING MEMBER
Provided is a windshield 1 suitable for preventing fogging of a glass sheet facing a light path space and for maintaining high accuracy of information acquired by an information acquisition device. A water-absorbing film 81 or an anti-fogging member 8 including the water-absorbing film 81 is disposed on a surface in contact with a light path space 41, the surface being at least one selected from a surface of a glass sheet 5 and a surface of members 61 and 62 serving the function of fixing of an information acquisition device 2 and/or light shielding for the light path space. The water-absorbing film has a saturated water absorption Ws of 1 g/m.sup.2 or more. The water-absorbing film satisfies at least one condition selected from the condition A1 that a water vapor adsorption isotherm is a downwardly convex curve at a relative humidity of 20 to 90% and the condition B1 that an increase in water absorption AbH with increasing relative humidity from 70% to 95% is more than 35% of Ws.
GLASS ARTICLE WITH COLORED COATING
A glass article includes a glass substrate, a colored film formed on one of main surfaces of the glass substrate, an uncoated portion where no colored film is formed which is present in part of the one of main surfaces or on an edge face of the glass substrate, a boundary between the colored film and the uncoated portion, and a film thickness varying portion where the colored film gradually tapers in thickness toward the boundary. The uncoated portion is visible in the glass article used as a window, the glass substrate has an absorbance in the wavelength range of 380 nm to 780 nm of 0.10 or lower per mm of thickness, and the glass article has a portion blue in color, gray in color, or pink in color where the colored film is formed.
Nanowires-based transparent conductors
A method of fabricating a transparent conductor includes the following steps. The first step is drawing a substrate from a first reel to a second reel along a travelling path, and along the travelling path. Next step is forming a metal nanowire dispersion layer on the substrate and then drying the metal nanowire dispersion layer to form a metal nanowire network layer. Next step is forming a matrix layer on the metal nanowire network layer so as to form a conductive layer of the metal nanowire network layer embedded in the matrix layer.
METAL PREPARATION AND COATINGS MADE THEREFROM
The present invention is directed to metal preparations containing metal particles, in particular noble metal particles, to the use of such metal preparations for the production of attractive metallic decorative elements on articles having an outer silicatic surface such as of porcelain, ceramic, china, bone china, glass or enamel, to metallic coatings on such substrates and to a process for the production of coatings of this kind.
Glass window having a luminous capability
Disclosed is a glass window having a luminous capability, which is suitable for use in automotive applications, architectural applications, or other applications. Exemplary embodiments of a glass window having a luminous capability include one or more glass sheet layers, a thin film layer having fine particles dispersed in a matrix of a thin film material, and at least one light source for introducing light into the thin film layer. The fine particles scatter the light and generate luminousness of the glass window. Exemplary embodiments of a glass window having luminous capability may further include one or more resinous sheet layers or one or more interlayers such as a plastic film layer.
Method for manufacturing pattern-formed body
To provide a production method of a pattern-formed body, which can simply provide a pattern with surface free energy differences. A cured resin layer, to which a pattern of a master (20) has been transferred, is formed on a base (11), by applying a resin composition (12) containing a first compound exhibiting low surface free energy, and a second compound exhibiting surface free energy higher than the surface free energy of the first compound, on the base (11), and curing the resin composition (12) with bringing the resin composition into contact with a master (20), to which a pattern has been formed with surface free energy differences.
