A multilayer structure includes one or more resin layers; and a glass layer laminated over the resin layers via bonding layers, wherein when ρ.sub.0 is a critical radius of curvature at which the glass layer does not break even though the multilayer structure being bent so that the glass layer is inside, a ratio t/ρ.sub.0 of a thickness t of the glass layer to the critical radius of curvature ρ.sub.0 is 0.001 or more and 0.02 or less.

Deadfront articles that include a tactile element formed on a first surface of a substrate and a visual element disposed on a second surface of the substrate opposite the first surface. The tactile element is positioned on the first surface of the substrate in a complimentary fashion to the visual element disposed on the second surface of the substrate. The tactile element may include a surface roughness portion having a surface roughness different than the surface roughness of an area bordering the surface roughness portion. The deadfront articles may be incorporated into an automobile interior to provide a visual and haptic display interface for a user.

The coating includes: a first material layer which has a first elastic modulus; and a second material layer which includes at least one material layer, wherein the second material layer has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, the first surface is used for disposing the first material layer, the second surface is adaptable for facing a surface of the glass when the coating is applied on the glass, and the second material layer has a second elastic modulus less than the first elastic modulus. Anti-scratch ability of the coating and scratch resistance of the automotive window may be improved, which avoids scratches on the automotive window.

RESIN-COATED ULTRA-THIN GLASS

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a resin-coated ultra-thin glass having high impact resistance, satisfactory bending resistance and high transparency. Provided is a resin-coated ultra-thin glass composed of three layers, i.e., an ultra-thin glass (A) having a thickness of 10 to 100 .Math.m inclusive, an organic film (B) formed on one surface of the ultra-thin glass (A), and an organic film (C) formed on the other surface of the ultra-thin glass (A), in which the organic film (B) is formed from a composition containing a thermoplastic resin (D) having a weight-average molecular weight of 1000 to 70000 and the organic film (C) is formed from a composition containing a siloxane resin (E).

The present invention provides a surface treatment film that is capable of imparting durability such as wear resistance, friction resistance, chemical resistance, heat resistance, and solvent resistance to the surfaces of various substrates, and that exhibits excellent adhesion to the surfaces of the substrates. The surface treatment film is provided on the surface of a substrate. The surface treatment film has a laminated structure that includes a polymer layer (i) disposed on the surface side of the substrate and a polymer layer (ii) disposed on the polymer layer (i). The polymer layer (i) contains a first polymer derived from a polymerization initiation group-containing polymer, such as a polyester having, in a side chain, a functional group represented by formula (1) wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or the like, R.sub.2 represents a methyl group or the like, X represents a chlorine atom or the like, Y represents O or NH, and * shows a bonding position. The polymer layer (ii) contains a second polymer which contains a constituent unit derived from a monomer such as an aromatic vinyl-based monomer and which extends using the functional group represented by formula (i) as a polymerization initiation point.
