Packaged personal care implement
A package for an oral care implement. The package may have an exposed outer surface, a package portion forming a first portion of the exposed outer surface, and a reusable cap forming a second portion of the exposed outer surface. The package portion may define a first cavity and the reusable cap may define a second cavity. The package portion may be formed by a backer panel and a cover panel that are coupled together to define the first cavity. The reusable cap may have a flange that is sandwiched between the backer panel and the cover panel to secure the reusable cap to the package portion. A personal care implement may be disposed within the package so that a first portion of personal care implement is located within the first cavity and a second portion of the personal care implement is located within the second cavity.

Brush head manufacturing method, and brush head
A brush head (10) and a method for manufacturing a brush head. The method includes forming a plurality of retention elements (52) each having an opening (51) therethrough. The retention elements (52) are positioned into corresponding recesses of a plate. A bristle tuft (21) is inserted into each of the openings of the retention elements. A proximal end (23) of each bristle tuft is bonded to the corresponding proximal side of the retention element to form a merged proximal end head portion (26) that secures the bristle tufts and the corresponding retention elements together as a plurality of merged tuft assemblies (20). A neck (40) of the brush head is positioned in relation to the merged tuft assemblies. A platen (42) of the neck and the merged tuft assemblies is at least partially encompassed in a matrix (30).

Head for an oral-care implement and a kit comprising such head
A head for an oral-care implement, having an elongated mounting surface with an outer circumference, includes two outer rows of tufts extending from the mounting surface along a longitudinal axis and in proximity to the outer circumference and an arc-shaped toe arranged at a distal end and composed of filaments or a plurality of tufts of filaments. The tufts of the outer rows have a longitudinal extension and an elongated cross-sectional area extending substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal extension, the elongated cross-sectional area having a longer axis and a shorter axis, wherein the longer axis defines an angle α of from about 20° to about 65° with respect to the longitudinal axis, so that the tufts of the outer rows and the arc-shaped toe define an outer arc-shaped envelope.
