Oral Care Implement
An oral care implement (100) including a head portion (120) that extends from a proximal end (121) to a distal edge (122) along a longitudinal axis (A-A). The head portion (120) may be formed of a cellulosic material such as a wood material or a bamboo material having a longitudinal grain direction. The head portion (120) may include a plurality of tuft holes (130) such that a bristle tuft (151) is anchored to the head portion (120) within each of the tuft holes (130) by an anchor (200). The anchors (200) may extend along an anchor axis that is oblique to the longitudinal axis (A-A). The bristle tufts (151) may include perimeter bristle tufts (153,154) located within perimeter tuft holes (140) that are adjacent to a perimeter (128) or peripheral edge (126,127) of the head portion (120). The perimeter tuft holes (140) may be located at least 1.80 mm from the perimeter (128) of the head portion (120).
TOOTHBRUSH FOR PROMOTING PLAQUE REMOVAL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
A toothbrush for promoting plaque removal, and a manufacturing method therefor are proposed. The toothbrush includes: a head part in which elements for cleaning teeth are arranged; a first electrode on the head part; a second electrode on the head part, the second electrode being spaced a predetermined distance from the first electrode and grounded; and a voltage supply part configured to superpose alternating current (AC) voltage and direct current (DC) voltage and apply the AC voltage and the DC voltage together to the first electrode.

Sanitary toothbrush holder
A toothbrush holder facilitates air drying of the toothbrush bristles after use while maintaining the surrounding areas sanitary if fluid drips from the bristles. The holder includes a base and first and second aligned posts extending upwardly from the base, each post having a top surface, the top surfaces configured to support a toothbrush handle. The second post top surface is spaced further from the base than the first post top surface so that an imaginary straight line between the top surfaces has a cant angle of about 4-10 degrees so that when a toothbrush handle is placed on the post top surfaces the toothbrush bristles are lower than the end of the handle most remote from the bristles. The base is positioned over a sink so that any fluid dripping from the toothbrush bristles goes directly into the sink bowl.

Oral care device
An oral care device comprises a head portion and a handle portion. The head portion comprises at least one supporting arm and a base. The supporting arm extends from the base. A sensor is exposed from the supporting arm. The handle portion is configured to move relative to the head portion. The handle portion comprises a processor, wherein the processor is configured to receive signals from the sensor and analyze the signals received from the sensor.
Arbitrary motion toothbrush
A method and apparatus permitting arbitrary, relative motions of a distal end of a toothbrush or flosser with respect to a handle with real-time selectable motions. The toothbrush has a handle and a post, with a mechanism mechanically coupling the handle to the post permitting relative translational movement of the post with respect to the handle.

TOOTHBRUSH
A toothbrush includes the head portion that is molded from a polyacetal resin having a weight-average molecular weight of 130000 or more. When the head portion is a thin head having a thickness of 3.0 mm or less, a base thickness that corresponds to a thickness of an implantation base is T1 (mm), a hole depth of an implantation hole is U1 (mm), a flat wire implantation depth that corresponds to a depth from an implantation face to an upper end of the flat wire implanted from the implantation face is H1 (mm), and a weight-average molecular weight of the polyacetal resin is Mw, a following equation (1) is satisfied.
[Formula 1]
(−18.5)+T1×7.0+U1×3.5+H1×(−10.0)+MW×0.78×10.sup.−5≥2.96 (1)
