SYNERGISTIC AGROCHEMICAL COMPOSITION COMPRISING DIAMIDES AND PLANT GROWTH REGULATORS
Synergistic agrochemical composition comprising diamide and plant growth regulators. The present invention more particularly relates to the synergistic agrochemical insecticidal composition comprising of bioactive amount of at least one insecticide selected from class of diamide, metadiamides, isoxazolines or mixture thereof; at least one plant growth regulator or mixture thereof; and at least one more insecticide from various groups or mixture thereof. The present invention further relates to process for preparing the said compositions in specific ratio. The present invention further relates to the process for preparing the said composition along with at least one inactive excipient; and formulations thereof. The present invention further relates to the synergistic insecticidal compositions, wherein active ingredient present in fixed ratio shows synergy in an insecticidal activity.

Method for Controlling Hematophagous or Sap-Feeding Arthropods
Modulation of inward potassium ion conductance with structurally diverse small-molecules in the arthropod salivary gland induces arthropod salivary gland failure that results in a reduction or elimination in the ability of the arthropod to feed. Administering Kir channel inhibitors reduces food intake, increases feeding time, reduces salivary gland secretion, induces mortality, and reduces transmission of vector-borne pathogens. Kir channel inhibitors induce these adverse effects in ticks, mosquitoes, horn flies, and aphids.
SUBSTITUTED ISOPHTHALIC ACID DIAMIDES
Isophthalamides of the general formula (I) are described as herbicides.
##STR00001##
In this formula (I), Z.sup.1 and Z.sup.2 represent radicals such as alkyl, cycloalkyl and phenyl. W.sup.1 and W.sup.2 represent radicals such as hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl and halogen. Q represents a heterocyclic ring such as tetrazolyl.
