Article with transparent conductive layer and method of making the same
A method of making a coated article includes forming a first coating over a first surface of a substrate; and forming a second coating over a second surface of the substrate. The second coating includes a first conductive layer including tin oxide and at least one material selected from the group consisting of tungsten, molybdenum, and niobium.
Fabrication of low defectivity electrochromic devices
Prior electrochromic devices frequently suffer from high levels of defectivity. The defects may be manifest as pin holes or spots where the electrochromic transition is impaired. This is unacceptable for many applications such as electrochromic architectural glass. Improved electrochromic devices with low defectivity can be fabricated by depositing certain layered components of the electrochromic device in a single integrated deposition system. While these layers are being deposited and/or treated on a substrate, for example a glass window, the substrate never leaves a controlled ambient environment, for example a low pressure controlled atmosphere having very low levels of particles. These layers may be deposited using physical vapor deposition. In certain embodiments, the device includes a counter electrode having an anodically coloring electrochromic material in combination with an additive.
OPTICAL DEVICE FABRICATION
Transparent conductive coatings are polished using particle slurries in combination with mechanical shearing force, such as a polishing pad. Substrates having transparent conductive coatings that are too rough and/or have too much haze, such that the substrate would not produce a suitable optical device, are polished using methods described herein. The substrate may be tempered prior to, or after, polishing. The polished substrates have low haze and sufficient smoothness to make high-quality optical devices.
ALLOY OXIDE OVERCOAT INDIUM TIN OXIDE COATINGS, COATED GLAZINGS, AND PRODUCTION METHODS
The invention provides transparent conductive coatings based on indium tin oxide. The coating has an oxide overcoat, such as an alloy oxide overcoat. In some embodiments, the coating further includes one or more overcoat films comprising silicon nitride, silicon oxynitride, silicon dioxide, or titanium dioxide.
Transparent conductive film-equipped glass substrate and method for manufacturing same
Provided is a transparent conductive film-equipped glass substrate that, during patterning by laser of a transparent conductive film formed on an underlying glass layer, can prevent the transparent conductive film or the underlying glass layer from being discolored or damaged, and a manufacturing method thereof. A transparent conductive film-equipped glass substrate 6 includes a glass substrate, an underlying glass layer provided on the glass substrate, and a transparent conductive film 3 provided on the underlying glass layer and subjected to patterning by laser. The underlying glass layer has an absorptance of a wavelength of the laser lower than the transparent conductive film 3 and higher than the glass substrate. A patterned region 10 formed by removing part of the transparent conductive film 3 by the patterning by laser includes a first linear portion 11, a second linear portion 12, and a connecting portion 13 connecting between the first linear portion 11 and the second linear portion 12. The first linear portion 11 and the second linear portion 12 form an angle of 120 or less with each other. The connecting portion 13 has a radius of curvature of 0.5 mm or more.

A camera module according to one embodiment comprises: a barrel provided with at least one lens; a retainer having an inner space and accommodating the barrel in the inner space; a holder coupled to the lower portion of the retainer; a housing disposed on the lower side of the holder and accommodating a printed circuit board; and a cover part mounted on the retainer and disposed in front of the lens. The cover part comprises: a cover glass; a first reflection suppression layer disposed on the upper side of the cover glass; a heating layer disposed on the lower side of the glass cover; and a second reflection suppression layer disposed on the lower side of the heating layer.
COUNTER ELECTRODE FOR ELECTROCHROMIC DEVICES
The embodiments herein relate to electrochromic stacks, electrochromic devices, and methods and apparatus for making such stacks and devices. In various embodiments, an anodically coloring layer in an electrochromic stack or device is fabricated to include a heterogeneous structure, for example a heterogeneous composition and/or morphology. Such heterogeneous anodically coloring layers can be used to better tune the properties of a device.

A pane having an electrically conductive coating, includes a substrate and an electrically conductive coating on an exposed surface of the substrate, which coating includes at least one electrically conductive layer, wherein the pane has a local minimum of reflectance (RL) in the range from 310 nm to 360 nm and a local maximum of reflectance (RL) in the range from 400 nm to 460 nm.
COATED GLASS ARTICLE
A coated glass article includes a glass substrate and an anti-reflective coating formed over a first major surface of the glass substrate. The anti-reflective coating includes a color suppression interlayer and a first coating layer deposited over the color suppression interlayer. The first coating layer includes tin oxide and a dopant. The dopant includes antimony, molybdenum, or iron. A second coating layer is deposited over the first coating layer. The second coating layer includes an oxide of silicon. The coated glass article exhibits a total visible light transmittance of 70% or more and a film side visible light reflectance of less than 6.0%.
