Coupled Transmission Line Resonate RF Filter
The present invention includes a method of creating electrical air gap low loss low cost RF mechanically and thermally stabilized interdigitated resonate filter in photo definable glass ceramic substrate. Where a ground plane may be used to adjacent to or below the RF filter in order to prevent parasitic electronic signals, RF signals, differential voltage build up and floating grounds from disrupting and degrading the performance of isolated electronic devices by the fabrication of electrical isolation and ground plane structures on a photo-definable glass substrate.
BIRD-FRIENDLY, THERMALLY-INSULATING GLASS AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME
A method for manufacturing a glazing. A low-emissivity protected glass piece has a low-emissivity coating applied to a second face thereof and a protective film covering the low-emissivity coating. The glass piece is placed on a surface of a screen printing table, the protective layer being in contact with said surface. Acid etching is performed with an acid paste which attacks the first face of the low-e protected glass piece to print visual markers thereon using a screen printing canvas on the first face. After waiting, the first face of the low-e protected glass piece is washed to remove the acid paste to obtain a permanent frosted finish pattern forming the bird-friendly visual markers on the first face. The protective film is removed to obtain a low-e marked glass having visual markers on one side and a low-e coating on another side, and then the marked glass is tempered.
Flash Annealing of Silver Coatings
Methods of processing coated articles, such as transparencies, are provided comprising flash annealing one or more layers of the coated article. The one or more layers may be reflective metallic layers, such as silver layers, or comprise a transparent conductive oxide, such as indium tin oxide, or a semiconductor.
Glass plate with antifouling layer
A glass plate with an antifouling layer, including: a glass plate having a first principal surface, a second principal surface opposite to the first principal surface, and an end face connecting the first principal surface and the second principal surface; an adhesive layer formed from the first principal surface to the end face of the glass plate; and an antifouling layer formed on the adhesive layer.
Method for structuring a decorative of technical pattern in an object made of an at least partially transparent amorphous, semi-crystalline or crystalline material
A method for structuring a decorative or technical pattern in the thickness of an object made of an at least partially transparent amorphous, semi-crystalline or crystalline material, wherein the object is made of an at least partially transparent material including a top surface and a bottom surface which extends away from the top surface. The top or bottom surfaces is provided with a mask defining an opening whose outline corresponds to the profile of the pattern to be structured, the mask covering the top or bottom surface at the positions which are not to be structured. The pattern is structured with a mono- or multicharged ion beam through the opening of the mask, wherein the mechanical properties of the mask are sufficient to prevent the ions of the ion beam from etching the top or bottom surface at the positions where this top or bottom surface is covered by the mask.
Plasma etching method using Faraday cage
A plasma etching method using a Faraday cage, comprising: providing a Faraday cage having a mesh portion on an upper surface thereof in a plasma etching apparatus; providing a quartz substrate having a metal mask with an opening provided on one surface of the metal mask in the Faraday cage; and patterning the quartz substrate with plasma etching.
METHOD FOR THE SELECTIVE ETCHING OF A LAYER OR A STACK OF LAYERS ON A GLASS SUBSTRATE
A process for depositing on a glass substrate a mineral functional layer or stack, includes depositing on the substrate a laser-crosslinkable organic photosensitive resin liquid composition, locally crosslinking the resin by a laser, removing the non-crosslinked liquid composition, depositing on the substrate thus coated a mineral functional layer or stack, and then performing combustion of the crosslinked solid resin via a heat treatment, completing its removal and that of the mineral layer or stack via a mechanical action, so as to obtain the mineral layer or stack in a pattern corresponding to the negative of that made with the crosslinked solid resin.
Systems, Devices, and/or Methods for Images
Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a method comprising, via computer aided design, designing parts of an object that comprises an outer shell and an inner body, at least one of the outer shell and the inner body defining a specific volume negative space relief. In certain exemplary embodiments, the specific volume negative space relief defines a channel constructed to pass at least one of a fluid and a gas.
RESIN COMPOSITION, FILM, COLOR FILTER, SOLID-STATE IMAGING ELEMENT, AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE
Provided are a resin composition including a coloring material, a resin, and a solvent, in which, in a case where a film having a thickness of 0.60 μm is formed by heating the resin composition at 200° C. for 30 minutes, a rate of change ΔA in an absorbance of the film after performing a heating treatment of the film at 300° C. for 5 hours in a nitrogen atmosphere, which is represented by Expression (1), is 50% or less; a film formed of the resin composition; a color filter; a solid-state imaging element; and an image display device. In the following expression, ΔA is the rate of change in the absorbance of the film after the heating treatment, A1 is a maximum value of an absorbance of the film before the heating treatment in a wavelength range of 400 to 1100 nm, and A2 is an absorbance of the film after the heating treatment, and is an absorbance at a wavelength showing the maximum value of the absorbance of the film before the heating treatment in a wavelength range of 400 to 1100 nm.
ΔA=|100−(A2/A1)×100| (1)
