COVER GLASS AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING THE SAME
A method of fabricating a cover glass includes preparing a base member including a first area and a second area, wherein a surface of the base member is substantially parallel to a direction in the first area and is inclined with respect to the direction in the second area, and forming an ink layer on the surface of the base member in the second area, and forming a first print layer by removing a portion of the ink layer and forming a second print layer on the first print layer.
Decorative panel made of flat glass
The present disclosure relates to a decorative panel made of flat glass for electronic household appliances, in particular, for large stationary household appliances. The decorative panel comprises a base body made of thermally tempered flat glass with an operational front and an operational back and has at least one digital print on the operational back.
GLASS LAMINATE, FRONT PLATE FOR DISPLAY, AND DISPLAY DEVICE
A glass laminate includes a glass substrate including a first main surface and a second main surface, and a functional layer at least on the first main surface. The functional layer includes at least two layers having a refractive index different from each other and the at least two layers are alternately laminated. The functional layer includes an outermost layer farthest from the glass substrate and a second layer that is adjacent to the outermost layer and lies closer to the glass substrate than the outermost layer. The outermost layer includes SiO.sub.2 as a main component. The second layer has a carbon concentration of 310.sup.18 atoms/cm.sup.3 or more and 510.sup.19 atoms/cm.sup.3 or less, and the carbon concentration of the second layer is lower than that of the outermost layer.

Glass Mixing Palette and Magnetic Attachment
A closable portable painting palette case has a glass paint mixing surface with a glazed or color backing. The glazed or color backing uses an automotive process that may include an adhesion promoter, a color application, an opaque base coat application, and a clear coat application. The glass paint mixing surface may be a shatter-resistant glass with a wrong or rough side and a right or smooth side, so that the glazed or color backing is applied to the wrong or rough side, leaving the right or smooth side for use in mixing paint smears. The glazing or color backing may be white, silver, or gray, depending on the application. A magnetic attachment may be provided for attaching the palette to a sketchbook or watercolor book for hands-free use. Molded or magnetic paint pans may be provided in the closable portable painting palette.
Method for manufacturing a decorative panel
The present disclosure relates to a method for manufacturing decorative panels made of flat glass for electronic household appliances, in particular household appliances that are fixed in position. The method comprises, in the specified order, at least the steps of providing a flat glass, producing a blank decorative panel by forming the provided flat glass with at least one of the steps of forming the outer contour of the decorative panel, edge treatment, or making at least one indentation on the operational front, the thermal tempering of the produced blank decorative panel, and applying at least one decorative print on the operational back of the thermally tempered blank decorative panel by means of a digital printing method.
Interior Coatings for Glass Structures in Electronic Devices
An electronic device may include electrical components and other components mounted within a housing. The device may have a display on a front face of the device and may have a glass layer that forms part of the housing on a rear face of the device. The glass layer and other glass structures in the electronic device may be provided with coatings. An interior coating on a glass layer may include multiple layers of material such as an adhesion promotion layer, thin-film layers of materials such as silicon, niobium oxide and other metal oxides, and metals to help adjust the appearance of the coating. A metal layer may be formed on top of the coating to serve as an environmental protection layer and opacity enhancement layer. In some configurations, the coating may include four layers.
Glass plate and manufacturing method thereof
A glass plate includes a first surface provided with a first film; and a second surface provided with a second film and opposite to the first surface. Each of the first film and the second film includes mainly tin oxide and has a sheet resistance value of 20 / or less. When film thicknesses of the first and second films are .sub.1 nm and .sub.2 nm respectively, and when, in the glass plate, a haze value measured from the first surface side for a configuration provided with the first film only is H.sub.1 (%), and a haze value measured from the second surface side for a configuration provided with the second film only is H.sub.2 (%), a value of .sub.1 divided by H.sub.1 is 500 or more but 1200 or less, and a value of .sub.2 divided by H.sub.2 is 300 or more but 750 or less.
