Fluid supply apparatus and personal care implement containing the same
A fluid supply apparatus with leakage protection. The apparatus includes a housing defining a storage cavity having a total volume including a fluid portion and a gas portion. The storage cavity extends along a cavity axis from a first end to a second end. A capillary member is fluidly coupled with the fluid. A vent tube having a primary vent passageway and a plurality of vent apertures is located in the storage cavity. The primary vent passageway forms a pathway from the vent apertures to the external atmosphere. Fluid cannot flow through the vent apertures at ambient temperature and pressure equilibrium. The vent apertures may be located and arranged on the vent tube such that irrespective of vertical and angular orientation of the housing relative to a gravitational vector at least one of the vent apertures is in spatial communication with the gas.
Liquid supply apparatus and personal care implement containing the same
A liquid supply apparatus with leakage protection. The apparatus includes a housing defining a storage cavity having a total volume including a liquid portion and a gas portion. The storage cavity extends along a cavity axis. A capillary member is fluidly coupled with the liquid to transport the liquid to the external atmosphere. The apparatus includes a plurality of vents that prevent liquid from flowing therethrough while permitting air to pass therethrough. A hub component is mounted within the storage cavity and it includes a plurality of radial vent passageways extending between the storage cavity and a primary vent passageway, which in turn forms a pathway to the external atmosphere. The vents may be located and arranged such that irrespective of inclination and rotational orientation of the housing relative to a gravitational vector at least one of the vents is in spatial communication with the gas.
Paint Brush Apparatus With a Dispenser
A multi-component brush apparatus is described and can be used in the application of any fluid (for example, paint). The brush apparatus includes a cylindrical reservoir for holding a volume of a fluid material, a distributor attached to the cylindrical reservoir and used to transport the fluid from the reservoir along a set of small-sized tubes (pipes) disposed within the brush bristles. A piston is included and engages with the reservoir to advance the movement of the fluid material toward the distributor.
A plurality of vent apertures are formed into the housing, each forming a passageway between the storage cavity and an external atmosphere and each configured such that the fluid cannot flow through the vent apertures at ambient temperature and pressure equilibrium between the storage cavity and the external atmosphere. The vent apertures may be located and arranged on the housing such that irrespective of vertical and angular orientation of the housing relative to a gravitational vector at least one of the vent apertures is in spatial communication with the gas.
WATER TOOTHBRUSH
A water toothbrush according to the present invention includes a body housing having an inner hole formed along its central axis in its longitudinal direction; a water supply pipe combined with a water supply inserted into one side of the body housing; a drawing pipe whose one side is inserted into the other side of the body housing; a toothbrush body, connecting to the other side of the drawing pipe, which has a head planted with bristles, an emitting hole formed on the surface of the head planted with bristles, and an emitting flow channel for linking the drawing pipe and the emitting hole; and a flow channel assembly installed in the inner hole of the body housing and connecting the other side of the water supply pipe with one side of the drawing pipe, for guiding cleaning water supplied by the water supply pipe into the drawing pipe.
Unit dose oral cleaning device and product dispensing system
An oral cleaning device includes an elongated, hollow body, a cleaning head, and a neck portion extending between the hollow body and the cleaning head. The neck portion forms a fluid channel between the hollow body and the cleaning head and the cleaning head includes at least one opening in fluid communication with the fluid channel. The device further includes a plunger located within the hollow body, movable between a first position and a second position, and a solution chamber formed within the hollow body which contains a cleaning solution and is in fluid communication with the fluid channel in the hollow neck portion. A cleaning end of the plunger is configured to move the cleaning solution in the solution chamber through the fluid channel and through the at least one opening in the cleaning head when the plunger is moved from the first position toward the second position.
Handheld brush
A single handheld brush includes an elongated body, first and second ends and an interior. The interior embodies a cavity, wherein, in use, fluid may be stored. The first end includes a brush head mounted on a brush base portion having a first face and a second face and a passage that runs through the brush base portion and is open at both ends, and the second end includes a scraping tool. The brush also has a flow path running from the cavity, to an aperture in the brush base portion, such that fluid in the cavity may flow along the flow path and be expelled from the aperture, and a valve closure located adjacent the first end. The valve may be moved from an open position wherein the flow path is open, to a closed position wherein the flow path is shut and vice versa.
Fluid-Dispensing Brush
A fluid dispensing brush facilitates performing personal grooming activities. To facilitate this, the fluid-dispensing brush has a handle, a removable brush, a cartridge, a fluid transfer channel. A cartridge-receiving receptacle is positioned within a first end of the handle so that the cartridge can be inserted into the handle. The outlet coupler is a fluid-transfer mechanism that enables the removable brush to be mounted onto a second end of the handle and be retained in fluid communication with the cartridge. The fluid-transfer channel passes through the removable brush and is in fluid communication with the outlet coupler. Thus, enabling fluid stored within the cartridge to be dispensed onto the brush while performing personal grooming. The dispenser mechanism is a mechanical actuator that generates the force required to dispense fluid out of the cartridge, through the fluid-transfer channel and onto a brushing surface of the removable brush.
Toothpaste dispensing toothbrush
A toothbrush comprising a brush head and neck, a hollow toothpaste storage chamber, and a plunger, in which the brush head has bristles and one or more apertures, and the neck is hollow. A portion of the plunger sits inside of the hollow storage chamber, and a spring sits inside of the hollow plunger. Alternatively, the plunger has a rod that has teeth on one side and a groove on the other side, to lock or unlock the plunger.
Immune response modifier compositions and methods
The present invention provides an immune response modifier (IRM) composition that includes an IRM moiety and a second active moiety covalently linked to the IRM moiety, wherein the covalent link comprises a labile bond directly attached to the IRM moiety.
