CLEANING APPLIANCE
A pump assembly for a dental cleaning appliance includes a fluid chamber, a piston, and a drive. Magnets, connected respectively to the piston and the drive, enable the drive to couple to the piston and move it within the fluid chamber to draw fluid into the fluid chamber. A stop prevents the piston from being pulled beyond a stop position so that through continued actuation of the drive the magnets separate to allow a spring to push the piston away from the stop position to urge a burst of fluid from the fluid chamber.
Floor Debris Removal Apparatus
A broom for minimizing the aggregation of dust and particulates when sweeping. The broom includes a shaft having a first end and a second end. A broom head having a plurality of bristles is affixed to the second end of the shaft, wherein a channel is disposed within the shaft. The channel is in fluid communication with a nozzle disposed on the broom head, wherein the bristles conceal the nozzle. A reservoir is removably fastened to the first end of the shaft. When fastened to the shaft, the reservoir is in fluid communication with the channel. The reservoir can to excrete a quantity of liquid into the channel and out of the nozzle, thereby moistening the bristle.
Self moistening brush
The invention discloses a paint brush comprising a hollow body having a first end opposing a second end and an inside and an outside. The invention also includes a handle having an inside and an outside, wherein the first end of the body is connected to the handle, and wherein the outside of the second end of the body is adapted for receiving a plurality of bristles. A plurality of bristles is attached to the outside of the second end of the body and a cavity is defined by the inside of the body and handle. The cavity is connected to the outside of the second end of the body by at least one channel. The invention also includes a removable cap covering an opening at a terminating end of the handle.
Control systems, devices, and methods for formulation delivery
Formulation delivery systems, formulation delivery devices, and formulation cartridges for the same are provided. Formulation delivery systems include a reusable handle, a formulation dispensing assembly, and a controller. The formulation dispensing assembly includes a reciprocating nozzle assembly and a pump. The reciprocating nozzle assembly is fluidically-coupleable to the formulation cartridge or the cleaning cartridge received within the reusable handle. Formulation delivery devices include a reusable handle configured to receive a formulation cartridge therein, and a formulation dispensing assembly disposed in the reusable handle. The formulation dispensing assembly includes fluid conduits, a pump fluidically connected to the fluid conduits, a reciprocating nozzle assembly, and a controller. Formulation cartridges include a reusable cartridge body, a valve frame, and a disposable refill packet reversibly-coupleable to the reusable cartridge body. The disposable refill packet includes a formulation packet and a body portion configured for insertion into the reusable cartridge body.
METHOD OF PROVIDING A VISUAL INDICATION OF DEPLETION OF A FLUID
A method of providing a visual indication of depletion of an oral care fluid. In one aspect, the method provides a visual indication of depletion of an oral care fluid contained within a reservoir of an oral care implement having a delivery member formed of a capillary material. The method includes: a) providing an indicator fluid in the reservoir with the oral care fluid, the oral care fluid being a different color than the indicator fluid and immiscible with respect to the indicator fluid; and b) upon depletion of the oral care fluid from the reservoir, delivering the indicator fluid to a visible portion of the deliver member.
Disposable Toothbrush Arrangement
A disposable toothbrush arrangement includes a brush body, a brush head, a brush neck, a pushing arrangement, and a twist knob. The brush neck and brush head includes channels therein to permit the flow of toothpaste into the brush head and out apertures therein. The pushing arrangement is positioned within the brush body and designed to exert a pushing force on the toothpaste. The twist knob is positioned at an end of the brush body and operatively connected to the pushing arrangement and designed to be twisted by a user to actuate the pushing arrangement and push toothpaste out through the head apertures. Once all toothpaste is used, the disposable toothbrush arrangement can be discarded and replaced.
