Hyaloclastite, sideromelane or tachylite pozzolan-based geopolymer cement and concrete and method of making and using same
The invention comprises a cementitious material comprising a natural pozzolan selected from hyaloclastite, sideromelane or tachylite, wherein the natural pozzolan has a volume-based mean particle size of less than or equal to 40 μm. The cementitious material also comprising an aqueous alkaline activating solution suitable for forming a geopolymer. A method making a cementitious material is also disclosed.

A multi-component inorganic capsule anchoring system can be used for chemically fastening anchors, bolts, screw anchors, screw bolts, and post-installed reinforcing bars in mineral substrates. The multi-component inorganic capsule anchoring system contains a curable powdery ground-granulated blast-furnace slag-based component A, and an initiator component B in aqueous-phase for initiating a curing process. The powdery ground-granulated blast-furnace slag-based component A contains further silica dust. The component B contains an alkali-silicate component and optionally a plasticizer.

Methods, systems, and apparatus for generating a recipe for a concrete mixture, comprising: obtaining an optical characterization of a set of particles; determining, based on the optical characterization, physical characteristics of the set of particles; generating a multispherical approximation of the set of particles; selecting, based on the physical characteristics of the set of particles and from a database of performance rules, performance rules applicable to the set of particles; predicting performance of a proposed recipe for a concrete mixture formed from the set of particles by: determining a wet flowability rating of the proposed recipe based on the selected performance rules; and determining a dry packing rating of the proposed recipe based on the multispherical approximation; iteratively altering the proposed recipe and predicting performance of the altered proposed recipe until the predicted performance satisfies performance criteria to obtain a final recipe; and outputting the final recipe.

The water-based coating composition comprises a water-based UV resin; a silane-treated nanosized silicon oxide compound; and a photoinitiator; wherein per kilogram of the solid constituent of the water-based UV resin contains not less than 3 mol of ethylenically unsaturated groups, and wherein the weight ratio of the solid constituent of the nanosized silicon oxide compound to the solid constituent of the water-based UV resin is 11:20 to 73:100. The coating layer formed by the water-based coating composition of the present invention has high hardness and good adhesion, and is particularly suitable for electronic, electrical and communication equipment in the 5G field.

SYNCHRONOUS SINGLE-LIQUID GROUTING SLURRY, ITS TECHNOLOGY AND APPLICATION FOR LARGE DIAMETER SHIELD ENGINEERING UNDER WATER-RICH, HIGH-PRESSURE AND WEAK SOIL STRATA CONDITIONS
A synchronous single-liquid grouting slurry, its technology and application for large diameter shield engineering under water-rich, high-pressure and weak soil strata conditions, comprising raw materials: 1050-1200 parts of gold tailing, 420-480 parts of silicate cement clinker, 220-240 parts of fly ash, 45-120 parts of waste clay brick, 65-95 parts of slag, 25-45 parts of limestone tailing, 70-80 parts of steel slag, 30-45 parts of silica fume, 15-22 parts of desulfurized gypsum, and 9-15 parts of quick-setting and early-strength composite additive. The invention controls the d.sub.50, d.sub.85 and d.sub.95 of the material particles as 35-40, 42-48 and 50-55 μm, respectively. Gold tailing with the particle size of 120-600 μm being used as the fine aggregate, their volume fractions are 40-60%. The slurry production technique, comprising crushing-sieving-superfine ball milling-homogenization-particle size classification-variable speed mixing being developed. The shield tail eight-point grouting technique is being developed for filling.
Palm ash curable concrete composition
A concrete composition that includes (i) a treated palm oil fuel ash, wherein the treated palm oil fuel ash is the only binder present, (ii) a fine aggregate, (iii) a coarse aggregate, and (iv) an alkali activator containing an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate. A cured concrete made from the concrete composition is also disclosed with advantageous compressive strength properties.
