COMPOSITE CEMENT WITH IMPROVED REACTIVITY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING IT
Composite cement with improved reactivity and improved fresh properties comprising a hydraulic cement or a caustic activator, a hyaloclastite as pozzolan containing 45-62 wt.-% SiO.sub.2, 10-20 wt.% Al.sub.2O.sub.3, 6-15 wt.-% Fe.sub.2O.sub.3, 7-15 wt.-% CaO, 7-15 wt.-% MgO, 1.5-4 wt.% (K.sub.2O+Na.sub.2O), and having 0-5 wt.-% loss on ignition at 950° C. and ≥50 wt.-% X-ray amorphous phase, and a carbonate filler with an at least bimodal particle size distribution adapted to provide a slope n in a Rosin-Rammler-Sperling-Bennett distribution curve of ≤1.15 in a particle size distribution of the composite cement; a method for manufacturing it, as well as use of a composition comprising the hyaloclastite as pozzolan and the carbonate filler as mineral addition for composite cements comprising a hydraulic cement or a caustic activator.
Resins for repair of well integrity issues
The present disclosure may relate to a method of remediating a wellbore. The method may comprise pumping a resin treatment fluid from a surface location to an annular space bounded by an outer diameter of a production tubular, wherein the resin treatment fluid comprises a liquid hardenable resin, a hardening agent, and a particulate bridging agent. The resin treatment fluid may gravity settle in the annular space to contact production equipment in the annular space such that at least a portion of the particulate bridging agent bridges across one or more damaged sections of the production equipment, wherein at least a portion of the liquid hardenable resin sets to form a hardened mass to seal the one or more damaged sections.

MINERAL BINDER
The invention relates to a mineral binder suitable for use in binding aggregate in a mineral mortar or concrete mixture, said binder comprising the following components:
a) at least 40 wt % of calcined kaolinitic clay and ultrafine crushed CDW,
wherein the ratio between calcined clay and ultrafine crushed CDW is between 3:7 and 1:1 (w/w),
b) optionally 2-50 wt. % of a chemical activator; and
wherein the calcined kaolinitic clay, the ultrafine crushed CDW and the optionally present chemical activator are present in a combined amount of at least 90 wt. %, based on the total weight of the binder. The invention further relates to mineral mortar or concrete mixtures based on this mineral binder, as well as building units made from these mixtures.
MINERAL BINDER
The invention relates to a mineral binder suitable for use in binding aggregate in a mineral mortar or concrete mixture, said binder comprising the following components:
a) at least 40 wt % of calcined kaolinitic clay and ultrafine crushed CDW,
wherein the ratio between calcined clay and ultrafine crushed CDW is between 3:7 and 1:1 (w/w),
b) optionally 2-50 wt. % of a chemical activator; and
wherein the calcined kaolinitic clay, the ultrafine crushed CDW and the optionally present chemical activator are present in a combined amount of at least 90 wt. %, based on the total weight of the binder. The invention further relates to mineral mortar or concrete mixtures based on this mineral binder, as well as building units made from these mixtures.

The present invention relates to a pipe for transporting gas, notably carbon dioxide, comprising at least one tubular element, tubular element (1) consisting of a juxtaposition of concentric layers comprising, from inside to outside, at least one sealing layer (5), a wall including a prestressed concrete layer (6) and at least one circumferential mechanical reinforcement layer (8). Furthermore, the concrete making up prestressed concrete layer (6) is selected from among the ultra-high performance fibre-reinforced concretes (UHPFRC).
Sealing wall building material and method for producing a sealing wall building material
The invention relates to a sealing wall building material, which has a binding agent with cement and aggregates. It is provided according to the invention that the binding agent comprises a mixture of cement and fly ash, wherein it is free of clay material, and that it has an impermeability with a kf value of 10.sup.−7 m/s and less.
Sealing wall building material and method for producing a sealing wall building material
The invention relates to a sealing wall building material, which has a binding agent with cement and aggregates. It is provided according to the invention that the binding agent comprises a mixture of cement and fly ash, wherein it is free of clay material, and that it has an impermeability with a kf value of 10.sup.−7 m/s and less.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A CARBON PASTE FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF HIGH-DENSITY ELECTRODES
The disclosed method proposes, for the mixing of a solid and dry granular mixture and a liquid bituminous binder, the solid and dry granular mixture being a mixture of two fractions of constituents, one of which is a coarse fraction including aggregates, the other fraction a fraction of submillimetre fines, that the mixing includes at least two consecutive mixing steps: an aggregate-preimpregnation step, consisting of mixing the coarse fraction of the granular mixture with a part of the bituminous binder, in a quantity at least sufficient for coating the aggregates and at least partially filling the open pore spaces of the aggregates; and a covering mixing step, which consists of mixing the preimpregnated coarse fraction of bituminous binder and originating from the first mixing step, with the balance of the bituminous binder, required for the manufacture of the electrodes, and with the fraction of fines of the granular mixture.
