MICROCAPSULE OF SUSTAINABLE SELF-HEALING COAL MINE VENTILATION SEALING MATERIAL CRACK AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
A microcapsule of sustainable self-healing coal mine ventilation sealing material crack. The microcapsule includes a microcapsule core material and a microcapsule wall material. The microcapsule core material is prepared using a bacterial lyophilized powder and a substrate. By using urease-producing bacteria, there is provided a method of protecting bacteria to survive a long time in the cement-based material, supplying sufficient nutrient substances and reducing the impact of the doping of bacteria on the mechanical property of the cement-based material. The bacterial lyophilized powder and substrate are prepared into microcapsules which are added into the cement-based material when the cement-based material is mixed. In this case, once concrete cracks, the microcapsules breaks and the spores in the material are activated to perform normal metabolism so as to induce precipitation of calcium carbonate continuously, thereby continuously realizing self-healing of coal mine ventilation sealing material cracks.
FIBER-REINFORCED BRITTLE MATRIX COMPOSITE
There is provided a fiber-reinforced brittle matrix composite. The fiber-reinforced brittle matrix composite comprises a brittle matrix material (for example, a cementitious or ceramics material) and a coated fiber embedded in the brittle matrix material, wherein the coated fiber comprises a fiber (for example, polyethylene fiber, glass fiber, silicon carbide fiber, alumina fiber, mullite fiber) and a coating material (for example, carbon nanofibers, carbon nanotubes), which is non-covalently disposed on the fiber. A method for producing the fiber-reinforced brittle matrix composite is also provided. The method comprises providing a fiber, disposing a coating material on the fiber to form a coated fiber, wherein the coating material is non-covalently disposed on the fiber, and embedding the coated fiber in a brittle matrix material to obtain the fiber-reinforced brittle matrix composite.

METHODS OF MAKING CEMENT SLURRIES AND CURED CEMENT AND USE THEREOF
Cured cements, cement slurries, and methods of making cured cement and methods of using cement slurries are provided. The method of making a modified cement slurry includes adding particles comprising carbon nanotube sponges disposed on sacrificial templates to a cement slurry to form the modified cement slurry and allowing the sacrificial templates to disintegrate, thereby leaving the carbon nanotube sponges dispersed throughout the modified cement slurry.
CEMENT SLURRIES, CURED CEMENT AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USE THEREOF
Cured cements, cement slurries, and methods of making cured cement and methods of using cement slurries are provided. The method of making a cured cement comprising: synthesizing nanomaterials via chemical vapor deposition on at least one of cement particles or cement additive particles to form nanomaterial particles, adding the nanomaterial particles to a cement slurry to form a modified cement slurry, and curing the modified cement slurry to form a cured cement, in which the nanomaterials are interconnected and form a conductive web within the cured cement.
