Aqueous suspensions of silica additives
A method of treating a subterranean formation comprising: forming a treatment fluid by adding a desired volume of a liquid concentrate suspension to at least a base fluid, wherein the treatment fluid comprises the liquid concentrate suspension and the base fluid, and wherein the liquid concentrate suspension comprises: (A) water; (B) an additive; and (C) a magnesium silicate clay, wherein the clay increases the viscosity of the water, wherein the liquid concentrate suspension is stable for a time period of at least 2 weeks; and introducing the treatment fluid into the subterranean formation.
A METHOD FOR PRODUCING A COMPOSITION CONTAINING CALCIUM WITH FIXED CO2 AND AN APPARATUS THEREFOR
A calcium-containing composition with fixed CO.sub.2 is produced by contacting a mixture of a calcium-containing composition before CO.sub.2 fixation and water with a CO.sub.2-containing gas. The calcium-containing composition, liquid water, and the CO.sub.2-containing gas having a temperature between 20 degree Celsius and 300 degree Celsius and a CO.sub.2 concentration between 1 volume % and 100 volume % are supplied to a reactor. By the supplied CO.sub.2-containing gas, the calcium-containing composition and water are made to flow in the reactor. Alternatively, the calcium-containing composition and water are in the reactor. Thus, CO.sub.2 is fixed in the calcium-containing composition and simultaneously the calcium-containing composition is dried to a water content of 5 mass % or less.
CONCRETE COMPOSITIONS AND METHOD FOR MAKING SAME
A process of preparing a concrete mixture includes the following steps: (a) providing a nano-sized non-sand silica and water; (b) mixing the non-sand silica with the water to form a silica-water mixture; (c) mixing an acid into the silica-water mixture to form a treated water; (d) mixing Portland cement and the treated water for a time sufficient to wet the Portland cement with the treated water to form a Portland/treated-water mixture; (e) mixing aggregate and the Portland-treated-water mixture to form an uncured concrete; and (f) allowing the uncured concrete to cure to form a cured concrete.

Concrete protective agent, method for repairing concrete structure, impregnation inducing agent for concrete structure, and defect filling agent for concrete structure
A concrete protective agent including an alkali metal-containing silicate and an alkaline electrolyzed water. A concrete protective agent including an alkali metal-containing silicate and silicon dioxide. Examples of the alkali metal-containing silicate include sodium silicate, potassium silicate and lithium silicate. By supplying the concrete protective agent to a concrete structure, the repair of the concrete structure can be performed. A concrete repairing agent having a significant repairing effect as compared with conventional concrete repairing agents.

Cement additives and related methods of use
Cement and concrete additives and related methods of making and using such additives are disclosed and described. An additive can include molasses and a carrier. An enhanced Portland cement composition can comprise about 97 wt % to 99.9 wt % of the composition and the above described additive comprises about 0.01 wt % to about 3 wt % of the composition.
