A composition includes: an ethoxylated fatty alcohol having from 8 to 22 carbon atoms and having an ethoxylation level of from 1 to 10 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of fatty alcohol, —an alkanolamine or a morpholine, or its derivatives or mix of them, and a fatty acid. A hydraulic binder includes the composition. A process prevents the formation of a surface film at the surface of hydraulic binders, wherein the composition is added to the dry hydraulic binder. A process for preparing the composition, includes: melting the ethoxylated fatty alcohol and heating it at a temperature above its melting point, adding water to the melted ethoxylated fatty alcohol and mixing, adding fatty acid to the mixture and mixing, adding alkanolamine or morpholine, or its derivative or mix of them to the mixture obtained and mixing, and adding water.

The suspension may be combined with a cement slurry to form a cement composition. The cement slurry includes a cement and a base fluid. The cement composition may be introduced into a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation. The cement composition may be allowed to set in the wellbore.

Dispersion-based ready-to-use grout formulations, methods of making such dispersion-based ready-to-use grout formulations, and the resultant grout products that perform as reactive resin grout products. The grout formulations of the invention at least include a water-based acrylic polymer dispersion binder and a water-based acrylate copolymer dispersion binder, in combination with one or more of an alkaline cross-linker, one or more silane adhesion promoters and/or a micro-fiber filler, along with various other constituents, to provide one-part ready-to-use grout formulations that require no mixing prior to use thereof. The resultant grout products of the invention meet performance standards of epoxy grout products, without requiring mixing of composition parts and without any adverse side effects.
