Snap-set, ready-mix joint compound
A joint compound system includes a set-inhibited, pre-wetted, setting-type, ready-mix joint compound and a set initiator. The set-inhibited, pre-wetted, setting-type joint compound includes a ready-mixed, setting-type joint compound base with a calcium-free phosphate set preventing agent that impedes chemical hydration of a gypsum component of the setting-type joint compound. The joint compound base is free of calcium carbonate. The set initiator includes alum to reinitiate the chemical hydration reactions.
Concrete repair coating
A concrete and asphalt repair coating formulation includes a cement component and an aggregate component. The cement component includes a calcium sulfoaluminate cement and a Portland cement. The aggregate component includes coarse aggregates between 125-500 microns in diameter and fine aggregates between 5-62.5 microns in diameter.

Corrosion mitigating cement compositions
Corrosion mitigating cement compositions and methods for their preparation are provided. The cement compositions are derived from self-cementing pozzolans and chemical accelerators, retarders, mechanical strength modifiers and corrosion inhibitors. The corrosion inhibitors include boron compounds such as boric acid. Concretes prepared using the cement compositions possess low conductivity and a conductivity which further decreases with aging.

HYDROCARBOXYLIC ACID DERIVATIVE AS A RETARDER ADDITIVE FOR OIL AND GAS WELLS CEMENTING
Cement compositions of the present disclosure include a cement precursor, water, and a cement retarder that includes hydrocarboxylic acid derivatives. In particular, the cement compositions include from 10 wt.% to 70 wt.% cement precursor, from 5 wt.% to 70 wt.% water, and from 0.1 percent by weight of cement (BWOC) to 10 percent BWOC cement retarder comprising the hydrocarboxylic acid derivatives. The hydrocarboxylic acid derivatives provide increased thickening time to the cement compositions at downhole temperatures of greater than or equal to 50° C. The present disclosure further includes methods of cementing a wellbore using the cement compositions with the cement retarder comprising the hydrocarboxylic acid derivatives.
