LOST CIRCULATION TEST METHOD FOR EXPANDABLE GEOPOLYMERS
The disclosure includes a new test method of evaluating lost circulation prevention with expandable geopolymers. The expandable geopolymer is tested using a permeability plugging tester, slot disk, drilling fluid, and a piston to determine how much fluid is released from the test cell.
Method for ecological filling with mixed coal gangue and fly ash
A method for ecological filling with mixed coal gangue and fly ash includes the following steps: S1: construction of a double-impermeable base layer: leveling a pit or gully, laying a fly ash-based cementitious material, compacting and curing; spraying a layer of polymer waterproof coating on a surface of the fly ash-based cementitious material, and fully curing to obtain a double-impermeable protective structure; S2: three-dimensional layered filling: dumping coal gangue and fly ash in sequence on the double-impermeable protective structure formed in S1, where the coal gangue and the fly ash are three-dimensionally layered and well graded; the coal gangue is coal gangue after coal washing, which is used as an aggregate; the fly ash is used as a filler and cementitious material to achieve a compact filling structure; and S3: rolling: rolling by a roller after the three-dimensional layered filling.
Combination of fluid loss control additive and lost circulation materials to control losses in formation
Provided are methods, compositions, and systems embodying cement compositions and the synergistic effect of lost circulation materials (LCMs) and fluid loss control additives (FLCAs) thereupon for cementing subterranean zones. A method of subterranean well cementing, comprising providing a cement composition comprising a hydraulic cement, a first FLCA, a LCM, and water, wherein the first FLCA comprises a water-soluble polymer with repeating units comprising a 5- to 6-membered cyclic amide; introducing the cement composition into a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation, wherein inclusion of the first FLCA and the LCM in the cement composition fluid reduces fluid loss into the subterranean formation, wherein the subterranean formation has fractures with a width of from about 1 micron to about 800 microns, and wherein the subterranean formation has a permeability of about 1 millidarcy to about 300 Darcy; and allowing the cement composition to set in the subterranean formation.
Co-disposal pollution control method of municipal solid waste and fly ash leached by membrane concentrate, obtained residue and application thereof
This invention provides a co-disposal pollution control method of municipal solid waste and fly ash leached by membrane concentrate, obtained residue and application thereof. A co-disposal pollution control method of municipal solid waste and fly ash leached by membrane concentrate, comprising the following steps: heat treating the mixture of leached ash and municipal solid waste at 800-1100° C. to obtain residue; the leaching ash is fly ash after being leached with membrane concentrate. The invention solves the problems existed in the co-disposal treatment of membrane concentrate, incineration fly ash and municipal solid waste, and the leaching toxicity of the ash leached by the membrane concentrated solution is reduced, moreover, the leaching concentration of heavy metals in the residue obtained after the leaching treatment is treated with municipal solid waste at medium and high temperature, and the residue obtained after heat treatment can be used as building materials.
