Low water content plastic composition comprising hydraulic cement and method for manufacturing same
The present invention relates to a low water content plastic composition comprising hydraulic cement and a method for manufacturing the same. The present invention provides a low water content plastic composition comprising hydraulic cement and a method for manufacturing the same, the composition being characterized by losing flowability and having plasticity since from a flowable, uniform mixture state of hydraulic cement and water with polyol and isocyanate compounds which are raw materials for forming foamed polyurethane, part of the water used in the mixture is separated and removed due to foaming in the course of formation of the foamed polyurethane.
MITIGATION OF CORROSION IN CARBONATED CONCRETE BASED ON LOW-CALCIUM SILICATE CEMENT
Methods for producing compositions that prevent, mitigate or delay the onset of corrosion of iron or steel (e.g., plain carbon steel) components used as reinforcement or otherwise at least partially embedded in carbonated concrete composite materials and objects based on carbonatable calcium silicate cement are disclosed.
MITIGATION OF ANNULAR PRESSURE BUILD-UP USING TREATMENT FLUIDS COMPRISING CALCIUM ALUMINATE CEMENT
Methods, compositions, and systems for treating a well are included. A method comprises introducing a treatment fluid comprising a calcium aluminate cement, a cement set retarder, and water into a wellbore. The method further comprises removing a portion of the treatment fluid from the wellbore.

Thermal and/or acoustic insulation materials shaped from silica
Thermal and/or acoustic insulation materials based on dried precipitated silica, having a total pore volume of from 1 to 5 cm3/g and optionally containing reinforcing fillers and/or opacifying agents, are prepared by: (A) filtering an aqueous dispersion D containing precipitated silica particles in a filter press, whereby a compacted filter cake is obtained; and then (B) drying the filter cake in the compacted state as obtained after step (A).
