An apparatus for scraping a surface. The apparatus includes an attachment element to attach to a cleaning tool, and a scraper element. The scraper element is coupled to the attachment element and includes a blade member and a guard member. The leading edge of the blade member is used to scrape the surface, while the guard member is disposed along one or more lateral edges of the blade member. A composite safety toothbrush is disclosed. The toothbrush apparatus detailed herein employs a composite head made from a rigid inner polymer material and a softer thermoplastic material surrounding the inner material. The softer material provides safety for prison toothbrush applications as well as elderly and patient care where care givers may brush the teeth of a patient. Innovative pin connectors in the inner toothbrush head assist in the composite formation. The toothbrush solution herein further importantly provides for a toothbrush having a flexible handle.

A cleaning element carrier for a toothbrush in a form of a disk has a back surface including a central depression covering at least 70% of the back surface and forming an edge at the border. Provided is a tongue cleaning device that can be attached and detached from a typical vacuum flow generating tool provided in dental examining rooms, surgical suites, and hospital rooms. A small amount of medication may be stored in and dispensed from a head of the tongue cleaning device while a trough may be configured to collect substances thereon and vacuumed through a cavity defined within a handle of the device. The device may be configured to release the medication against the tongue of a patient by capillary action and through one or more dispensing vents, scrape against the surface to clean the tongue, and vacuum out the debris through the body of the device.

A push broom with attached scraper device including a push broom member and a scraper member. The push broom member includes a handle element and a head element. The head element has an aperture on a top region of the head element for receiving the handle element which is secured to the head element with a first mechanical mechanism and has a plurality of bristles on a bottom region of the head element.
