Method of sanitizing a toothbrush
A method of sanitizing a toothbrush. The method may include delivering a sanitizing fluid from a reservoir of a toothbrush that comprises a store of the sanitizing fluid to bristle tufts of the toothbrush solely via capillary action, wherein each of the bristle tufts comprises a plurality of bristle filaments so that the sanitizing fluid wicks upwardly along the bristle tufts within spaces between the bristle filaments to sanitize the bristle filaments.
Arrangement for Storing and Disinfecting Toilet Brushes
Assembly for storing and disinfecting toilet brushes comprising a container or a housing for accommodating the entire toilet brush, wherein the container or the housing is provided with an opening for taking up the toilet brush; a lid, a flap or another closing portion for closing the opening; a UV-light source for exposing at least the handle of the toilet brush to UV-light the UV light source having a wavelength range and an intensity which is suitable for the disinfection of the exposed surfaces; is characterized in that means for opening the container or the housing without hand contact; and control means for controlling the UV-light source in such a way that the UV-light source emits UV-light only when the container or the housing is closed.
Portable device for dental hygiene, storage, and hygiene method
A dental hygiene device includes a housing, a toothbrush, and a sanitizing device. The housing includes a chamber therein. The housing defines a mouth and an opening. The housing includes a first width adjacent the mouth and a second width spaced apart from the mouth. The second width is larger than the first width. The toothbrush is detachably securable with the mouth of the housing. The toothbrush includes a head portion including bristles, and an engaging portion. The toothbrush is reconfigurable with the housing between a first configuration, in which, the bristles are external of the housing, and a second configuration, in which, the bristles are disposed within the chamber. The sanitizing device includes a plurality of light emitting diodes to provide ultraviolet light within the chamber of the housing.
STERILIZABLE FACIAL CLEANING INSTRUMENT
Disclosed is a sterilizable facial cleaning instrument, which comprises a main apparatus, and a driving motor, a first control board and a rechargeable battery that are provided in the main apparatus, and further comprises an apparatus seat provided with a sterilization cavity, wherein an ultraviolet germicidal lamp is provided in the sterilization cavity; the main apparatus is detachably provided at the apparatus seat and at least a part of a brush head is positioned in the sterilization cavity, so that bristles positioned in the sterilization cavity can be sterilized by ultraviolet irradiation. The sterilizable facial cleaning instrument provided by the present invention can sterilize and disinfect the brush head completely when the main apparatus is combined with the separable designed apparatus seat, thereby ensuring the health and safety of users.
Multi-head artist and make-up brush
A make-up brush system includes a mandrel having a first end and a second end. The first end includes a gripping surface for engagement with a hand of a make-up artist and the second end being shaped and dimensioned for selective engagement with a plurality of make-up brushes. A plurality of make-up brushes is provided. Each of the plurality of make-up brushes includes a first end and a second end, the first end including a functional component of the make-up brush and the second end including a coupling member shaped and dimensioned for selective engagement with the second end of the mandrel. The system also includes a case both supporting and sanitizing the various components of the present invention. The case includes a tray supporting the plurality of make-up brushes in accessible positions within the case.
Vibrating toothbrush
The present invention relates to a vibrating toothbrush, and more particularly to a vibrating toothbrush enabled to perform toothbrushing for a running time, periodically output an alarm signal in a multisensory way to guide change of a region subject to toothbrushing, and supply driving power in the form of pulses according to a period, thereby reducing power consumption and rapid driving stress of a motor.
ELECTROCHEMICAL CELL
An oxidant production apparatus comprises an electrochemical reactant reservoir, an electrolysis compartment, a porous first electrode and a second electrode. The porous first electrode defines a boundary between the reservoir and the electrolysis compartment and is configured to allow an electrochemical reactant to pass from the reservoir, through the first electrode and into the electrolysis compartment. The second electrode disposed at least substantially in the electrolysis compartment and spaced apart from the first electrode. The apparatus is configured to produce an oxidant in an electrochemical reaction when a voltage is applied across the first and second electrodes and a current is passed through the first and second electrodes and an electrolyte disposed in the electrolysis compartment.
Brush holding and sterilizing device
In various embodiments, the device may be used to clean any brush. The brush bristles carry bacteria, food particles, dust, germs, and other similar residue in tightly packed spaces near where the bristles connect with the head of the brush. In multiple embodiments, the device is a container that is filled with cleaning solution (e.g., mouthwash, cleaning solution, alcohol, etc.), a lid that substantially closes the top opening of the container, and an agitator pad that has a plurality of individual prongs. In various embodiments, the lid mirrors the container shape so that the lid and the container can be operatively connected. In various embodiments, the lid has a cover, so that when the device is not being use, the cover may be put in a closed position so that the cover closes the opening in the lid.
