The present invention relates to a brush head (10, 10a, 10b, 10c) for use with a body care device (100), comprising a plurality of bristles (22, 22a-22e), a carrier (16) for fixedly carrying the plurality of bristles (22, 22a-22e), and connection means for connecting the carrier (16) to a housing (50) of the body care device (100) defining a first axis (14), so that, when the brush head is connected to the housing (50), the carrier (16) is rotatable about the first axis (14) and pivotable about a second axis (20) perpendicular to the first axis (14) with respect to the housing (50), wherein the carrier (16) comprises a plurality of carrier parts (17), each fixedly carrying a corresponding one of a plurality of bristle groups (26, 28, 30), and wherein at least one of the plurality of carrier parts (17) comprises a shaft defining a third axis (40, 42, 44) about which the corresponding bristle group (26, 28, 30) is rotatable.

Foot washing apparatus including a base, a housing with a first arm extending vertically from the base so as to generally divide an upper surface of the base into a toe area and a heel area, and a second arm having a lower surface extending generally horizontally from the first arm, the lower surface of the second arm overlying the toe area. A soap dispensing assembly includes a receptacle for receiving a pressurized soap can, an activating lever for dispensing soap, a conduit system for carrying dispensed soap from the soap can to brushes carried by the apparatus, and a stabilizing handle extending upwardly form the base. A body scrubbing assembly for facilitating a user to wash their back without assistance includes a dome that is comprised of a deformable material thereby facilitating the dome to be compressed against a wall of a shower such that the dome suctionally engages the wall. A fastener is integrated into the dome. A base is provided and a fastening element is integrated into the base. The fastening element releasably engages the fastener for attaching the base to the dome. A plurality of bristles is each coupled to and extends away from the base to facilitate a user to scrub their back against the bristles when the user is taking a shower.

In some embodiments, usage of a personal care device in compliance with a recommended use is improved. A usage monitor computing device may detect and store records of use of the personal care device. The usage monitor computing device may transmit the records of use to a monitoring server device via a network. The usage monitor computing device may determine whether the records of use indicate that the personal care device has been used as directed by the recommendations, and if so, may determine whether one or more rewards for use should be provided to the user. The usage monitor computing device may receive notifications of the rewards, and may present notifications of the rewards to the user.

It is disclosed a Q-tip which includes rolled up soft paper sheets, divided at one or two ends to a plurality of strips such as to form one or two respective brushes, and sticker or wire for gripping the rolled up soft paper sheets at a certain distance from the one or more brushes. The Q-tip includes one to four rolled up soft paper sheets. A method for providing a Q-tip may include providing soft paper sheets, dividing the soft paper sheets at two opposite ends to a plurality of strips, rolling up the soft paper sheets such as to form two brushes and a cylindrical part having an axis in parallel to the dividing direction, and gripping the soft paper sheets at the cylindrical part. The strips maybe of a substantially same width in the range of 7-8 mm, and a length in the range of 20-30 mm. A length of a soft paper sheet in the dividing direction is in the range of 95-105 mm and its width is in the range of 85-95 mm. Each brush may have 30-75 strips.

Systems and methods for measuring and indicating brush head life are disclosed. In one embodiment, the system includes a brush head that moves with respect to a brush handle; an energy harvester that generates electrical signals based on movements of the brush head; a controller in electrical communication with the energy harvester; and an indicator in electrical communication with the controller. The indicator is energized based on a signal from the controller.

Disclosed are a split bristle and a cleaning brush having the split bristle. The split bristle includes a bristle body having a main body part and plural cleaning parts installed at the same end of the main body part, and the cleaning part is formed and protruded from an end of the main body part and the cleaning part has an outer diameter smaller than half of the outer diameter of the main body part. In actual use, a free end of the leaning part touches a user's skin to be cleaned. With the special structure of the bristle body, the cleaning part can be used to clean the pore dirt on the user's skin effectively, so as to improve the efficiency and effect of cleaning the user's skin by the bristle body.

The device includes a motor, a power output shaft connected to the motor, a driven member and a flexible non-driven member adjacent the flexible driven member. The flexible non-driven member includes a bearing surface for contact with the driven member and a non bearing surface configured for contact with a user's fingers in permitting deformation the driven member into a curved disposition and the application of plural localized regions of pressure against the driven member and the contacting portion.
