Provided is a resin composition including a resin containing a polymer, a hygroscopic particle, and an organic solvent-soluble dispersant. Preferably the ratio of the dispersant relative to 100 parts by weight of the hygroscopic particle is 0.1 part by weight or more and 1000 parts by weight or less, and the absolute value of the difference in refractive index between the resin and the hygroscopic particle is 0.05 or less. Also provided are a resin film formed by molding the resin composition into a film shape, and an organic electroluminescent device including the resin film.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING HYDROPHOBIC HEAT INSULATION MATERIAL
Process for producing a thermally insulating mixture comprising hydrophobic silica, in which a) a pulverulent carrier material selected from the group consisting of precipitated silicas, SiO.sub.2 aerogels, pearlites and mixtures thereof is coated with a liquid silicon compound, where the liquid silicon compound has at least one alkyl group and a boiling point of less than 200 C., and b) the pulverulent carrier material that has thus been coated with the liquid silicon compound is mixed with a composition comprising a pulverulent hydrophilic fumed silica and the mixture is subjected to thermal treatment at more than 40 C. and c) any unreacted silicon compound is subsequently removed from the thermally treated mixture, thus giving the thermally insulating mixture comprising hydrophobic silica.
Method to reduce the water loss in slurries or solutions used in oil field and gas field operations
The present invention relates to a method to reduce the water loss in slurries and solutions used in oil field or gas field operations, for example for drilling, cementing and completion operations by adding a copolymer having a high molecular weight characterized by a K value of at least 300, said copolymer comprising structural units derived from monomers having sulfonic acid or derivative thereof, phosphonic acid or derivative thereof and acrylamide functionality.
BUILDING MATERIALS AND COMPONENTS AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to methods and materials for fabricating building materials and other components from coal. More specifically, embodiments of the present disclosure relate to materials and other components, such as char clay plaster, char brick, and foam glass fabricated from coal, and to methods of forming such materials. In an embodiment is provided a building material fabrication method. The method includes mixing an organic solvent with coal, under solvent extraction conditions, to form a coal extraction residue, and heating the coal extraction residue under pyrolysis conditions to form a pyrolysis char, the pyrolysis conditions comprising a temperature greater than about 500? C. The method further includes mixing the pyrolysis char with water and with one or more of clay, cement, or sand to create a mixture, and molding and curing the mixture to form a building material. Pyrolysis char-containing materials are also disclosed.

HYDROPHOBIC CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL
A construction material, a hydrophobic, optionally multi-cellular, inorganic particulate material for use in the construction material, for example, to improve the crush strength and/or stability of the construction material, a method of making the construction material, constructions comprising the construction material, and a method of improving the stability of a construction material.
WATER STORAGE SYSTEM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention discloses a water storage system, comprising: a water storage brick, a water storage stick and a water storage unit, wherein the water storage stick and the water storage brick are made of construction waste, so as to realize recycling of the construction waste and achieve the effects of protecting the environment and saving resources. The water storage unit uses a mixture of the construction waste, a water retaining agent and an organic or inorganic fertilizer as a culture substrate, so as to retain water and increase the fertilizer. Because the resource utilization of the construction waste is realized, a good environmental protection effect can be achieved. The present invention provides a water storage system and a manufacturing method therefor, so as to effectively solve the problem of difficult water supply for greening and tree planting in arid and water shortage regions, benefit the improvement on an ecological environment, increase a vegetation coverage rate and bring important significance to resource utilization of rainwater and construction of the ecological environment.
Single paste type hydraulic dental filling composition
According to one aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a single paste type hydraulic dental filling composition. The single paste type hydraulic dental filling composition includes hydraulic cement, non-aqueous liquid having hygroscopic properties, and a radiopaque material.
DRY CONSTRUCTION COMPOSITION WET-SPRAYABLE BY MEANS OF A SCREW PUMP AND CONTAINING A BINDER AND A BIOSOURCED FILLER, AND PREPARATION AND USES OF SUCH A COMPOSITION
A dry construction composition is easily wet-sprayable by means of a screw pump, thus forming, after hardening, a durably mechanically resistant insulating material (<0.1 W.Math.m1.Math.K1). The composition contains: A at least one binder, itself including: A1 at least one main binder containing lime and/or at least one alumina source and/or at least one calcium sulfate source, preferably at least one alumina source, A2 at least one water-retaining agent, and A3 preferably at least one surfactant; and B at least one biosourced filler, preferably of plant origin. The ratio B/A (liters/kg) is between 2 and 9. The composition is intended to be mixed with water in a water/binder ratio A of no lower than 0.8. Also disclosed is a wet composition, the preparation thereof, to the binder A taken in isolation, and to a method of spraying the composition onto a horizontal or vertical substrate or by molding.
ADDITIVE FOR INTERNAL POST TREATMENT OF MINERAL BINDER COMPOSITIONS
An admixture for mineral binder compositions, in particular an after-treatment agent for mineral binder compositions, including at least one water-absorbing substance and at least one shrinkage reducer.
