Paint Brush and Manufacturing Method
A paint brush and method include a ferrule extending around and in contact with a plurality of bristles and a spacer apparatus positioned to space apart the plurality of bristles to provide at least one reservoir within the plurality of bristles. The spacer apparatus defines at least one opening extending through the spacer apparatus that allows fluid passage therethrough to the at least one reservoir to assist in removal of paint from the plurality of bristles when fluid is provided therein.

I claim an applicator component retainer for quickly detaching and attaching disposable components comprising of paint brush heads, paint roller covers, dusting feathers, dusting cloths, cleaning cloths, chemical wipes and sandpaper onto a hand tool applicator shaft, said applicator component retainer comprises:
an elongated hollow member,
a slot,
and at least one recessed member,
whereby said slot is positioned along the entire length of said elongated hollow member and whereby said slot creates an opening all the way from the outside to the inside of said elongated hollow member, and whereby recessed member extends from the elongated hollow member and whereby said recessed member is recessed away from the top of the slot forming material at a smaller height below the slot.
DISPENSING PAINTBRUSH
A dispensing paintbrush includes a handle, a brush head connected to the handle, and bristles attached to the brush head to apply a fluid to a surface. A coupler is attached to the handle and is configured to connect to a fluid source. A nozzle is attached to the coupler and is configured to dispense the fluid to the bristles. The nozzle extends within the bristles and terminates at a position from the brush head that is less than one half the length of the bristles.

A brush comprising; a shaft having a first end forming a handle portion and a second end including a first part of a swivel mechanism; a brush holding part comprising a central body portion and at least one leg extending therefrom, the leg capable of holding or forming a brush; the central body portion further having a second part of a swivel mechanism and engageable with the first part of the swivel mechanism to form a swivel joint which is rotatable about a common axis in order that the leg may be positioned to extend beyond the second end of the shaft in order that the brush may be used by a user.
Paint Brush Cover
The present invention is an improved paint brush or applicator cover that may be used to store a conventional brush when it is not in use. The improved paint brush or applicator cover is effective at protecting the bristles of the brush once the brush has been used, washed, and dried. The improved paint brush cover has a base portion that is sized to fit a particular brush style, type, or size. The improved paint brush cover includes a plurality of elastic closures and posts for securing the cover portion to the base portion after the insertion of the paint brush into the base portion.

The new paintbrush (19) includes a brush handle (1), a bristle carrier (11) and a ferrule (15). The brush handle (1) has a first end (3) including a brush handle snap element (4). The bristle carrier (11) has a first front side (36) including a bristle carrier snap element (12), the bristle carrier snap element (12) engaging the brush handle snap element (4) such that the bristle carrier (11) is fixedly connected to the brush handle (1). The bristle carrier (11) includes a plurality of recesses (23) and a plurality of bristles (20), the bristles (20) being arranged to form a plurality of bristle bundles (24), the bristle bundles (24) each being arranged to be gluelessly fixed in one of the recesses (23). The ferrule (15) is designed as one piece with the bristle carrier (11).
PAINT BRUSH PRESSURIZED CLEANING SYSTEM
An apparatus includes a top cover having a first side and a second side, the second side opposite the first side, the top cover tapered and comprising an opening at a top of the tapered portion to accept a paint brush handle within and two flexible tabs on a lower portion of the first side, and a bottom cover having a first side and a second side, the second side opposite the first side, the first side of the bottom cover comprising two slots positioned on a top portion, the bottom cover configured to accept a paint brush bristle portion within, a lower part of the tapered portion of the top cover configured to releasably lock to the bottom cover when the two flexible tabs are engaged within the two slots.
Paint brush with integrated hanger and packaging therefor
A paint brush having a handle with an integrated hanger that is pivotably movable between a retracted position for stowing the hanger within a groove of the handle, and an extended position for extending the hanger outwardly from the groove to hang the paint brush on an object. When stowed in the retracted position the hanger may be flush with an outer surface of the handle to enhance the ergonomic design. The hanger and groove may be configured to enable ease of deployment of the hanger from the retracted to extended position simply with a one-handed operation. The portion of the handle having the groove may be made of a flexible material which may better secure the hanger in the groove when stowed and/or may facilitate installation of the hanger. The handle may include a grip portion having the flexible material which is over-molded onto a rigid head portion.
Apparatus for cleaning paint applicator brushes
An apparatus for cleaning a paint application roller brush includes a generally cylindrical transparent main body sized for removably receiving the paint application roller brush a first end including end fitting in sealing engagement with the main cylindrical body and adapted with a water inlet adapted with a manually actuated on/off valve, a second end including an end fitting in sealing engagement with the main cylindrical body and adapted with a removable cap, a cap adapted with at least one aperture forming a water outlet, and a flexible inner liner disposed in surrounding relation with the paint applicator roller whereby pressure applied to said liner causes the liner to compress the paint application roller brush.
Brush with rotatable ergonomic rounded hook
An improved paint brush is disclosed. In particular, the improved paint brush includes a body portion and a handle extending therefrom. A plurality of bristles extends from the body portion, and can be held in place by a sleeve. A hook is disposed on and extends from the body portion. The underside of the hook is rounded so that a painter can place her thumb on the hook thereby obtaining a more stable grip allowing for more precise painting.
