PAINT APPLICATOR, KIT AND METHOD
A paint applicator, kit and methodology for using the same is disclosed. For example, a paint applicator that allows a user to load a desired amount of paint, such as a water based or other low VOC paint, into the paint applicator and an advancement mechanism that dispenses paint at a rate controllable by the user is disclosed. The advancement mechanism can include a system that translates a rotational force applied to an end cap of the applicator into a linear force that advances a piston which in turn applies paint to an applicator portion. The paint applicator may be reusable or may include a ratchet system that allows for only one time use. The methodology and kit can incorporate a syringe for loading paint into the paint applicator, thus reducing the loss of paint through spilling.
Ergonometric utility handle
An ergonometric utility handle having a main body portion having an end that fits in a cupped palm and concavities emanating from the end that lengthwise substantially conformingly receive palm sides of a thumb and at least one finger. The concavities are widely dish shaped or bound and defined by gently sloped surfaces disposed in laterally outwardly spaced relation to the utility object or a mounting element therefor and against which the thumb and finger or fingers can be positioned and pressed to control and exert useful mechanical advantage. Additional features include a cantilever element against which a finger can be pressed to enhance control and mechanical advantage, an ability to remove and reorient a utility object, such as to reverse the diagonal cut of a brush tip, and an ability to attach an extension in one or more ways.
Method of manufacturing a paint brush head
A method of manufacturing a paint brush head comprising a bundle of bristles comprising synthetic bristles and a ferrule, a paint brush head manufactured according to the method and a paint brush comprising a paint brush head, The method comprising gathering a number of bristles comprising synthetic bristles into a bundle of bristles such that the bristles are tangent to each other along their length, aligning the bristles of the bundle of bristles at a first end of the bristles obtaining a flush end surface of the bundle of bristles, arranging the first end of the bristles in the ferrule, applying a thermoplastic adhesive in the ferrule at the flush end surface, fusing the first ends of the bristles at the flush end surface together by heat into a jointed bundle of bristles, and fusing the thermoplastic adhesive in the ferrule by means of the laser to connect the thermoplastic adhesive to the jointed bundle of bristles and the ferrule.
Painting Tool Holder
A painting tool holder is provided. The painting tool holder includes a body defining an upper platform and a lower platform, wherein the upper platform and the lower platform are connected via a front support. A rear support extends from the upper platform. The front support and the rear support define a channel therebetween for receiving a rim of a paint can therein. A pair of support rings are disposed on opposing lateral sides of the lower platform. A fastener is disposed on a first side of the upper platform. An upper support ring is disposed on a second side of the upper platform.
Makeup Brush
The present invention is a makeup brush with a releasably connectable ferrule and handle, so that the ferrules and handles are interchangeable. The means for releasably connecting the ferrule and the handle may be, for examples, by friction fit or by the inclusion of sliding features, such as a notch and channel, such being additional methods for releasable connectivity beyond those already patented and/or developed by the inventor.
PAINTER EDGER TOOL
A painter edger tool includes a base structure, a handle, an applicator, and a guard. In a particular embodiment, the base structure includes a first side edge and a second side edge. The guard is configured to be transitioned from a first position adjacent the first side edge, to a second position away from the first side edge, and to a third position adjacent the second side edge. In a more particular embodiment, the painter edger tool further includes a biasing member that urges the guard against a work surface when the applicator is advanced toward the work surface.
Paint Brush Device with Controlled Paint Flow System
A paint brush device with a controlled paint flow system is an apparatus that facilitates efficient painting process, by providing the user with a paint brush with a reservoir handle. The inside of the reservoir handle contains the user's choice of paint. In order to transfer the paint to a plurality of bristles, the reservoir handle is internally connected to a soft, liquid repellent internal tube, that traverses internally from the reservoir handle towards the plurality of bristles on a removable brush head. The reservoir handle is compressible, therefore when manually compressed, paint travels from the reservoir handle to the plurality of bristles allowing the user to begin the painting process with little to no preparation. Further, the user can allow, control, and stop the paint flow via a control screw. Therefore, the paint brush device decreases preparation time as well as clean-up time efficiently.
Paint brush holder
A paint brush holder has a hinged tray with a plurality of apertures disposed within a base capable of being vertically supported within an interior of a can of paint. The tray is both braced and secured into position by a pair of support arms.
Brush holding and sterilizing device
In various embodiments, the device may be used to clean any brush. The brush bristles carry bacteria, food particles, dust, germs, and other similar residue in tightly packed spaces near where the bristles connect with the head of the brush. In multiple embodiments, the device is a container that is filled with cleaning solution (e.g., mouthwash, cleaning solution, alcohol, etc.), a lid that substantially closes the top opening of the container, and an agitator pad that has a plurality of individual prongs. In various embodiments, the lid mirrors the container shape so that the lid and the container can be operatively connected. In various embodiments, the lid has a cover, so that when the device is not being use, the cover may be put in a closed position so that the cover closes the opening in the lid.
Dispensing paintbrush
A dispensing paintbrush includes a handle, a brush head connected to the handle, and bristles attached to the brush head to apply a fluid to a surface. A coupler is attached to the handle and is configured to connect to a fluid source. A nozzle is attached to the coupler and is configured to dispense the fluid to the bristles. The nozzle extends within the bristles and terminates at a position from the brush head that is less than one half the length of the bristles.
