BOOM SEGMENT AND BREAKAWAY MECHANISM

A breakaway joint for a boom arm assembly includes a first boom segment defining a pivot axis at a first end, a second boom segment pivotally coupled to the first boom segment at the pivot axis, a bracket coupled to the first boom segment, a leaf spring coupled to the bracket between the first boom segment and the second boom segment, and a cam coupled to the second boom segment and positioned adjacent to the leaf spring. The first boom segment and the second boom segment are pivotally aligned in a neutral position. In the neutral position, the leaf spring contacts the cam at a first contact force, and in any position other than the neutral position, the leaf spring contacts the cam at a contact force greater than the first contact force.

Drawn agricultural machine

A drawn agricultural machine comprising a carrier frame for carrying processing members, the carrier frame supportable on the ground, at least during transport, by means of a wheel set comprising at least a wheel, a coupling frame for coupling the agricultural machine 1 to the three-point suspension of a tractor, the coupling frame comprising two lower coupling points and an upper coupling point and the coupling frame being rotatable about a vertical axis of rotation relative to the carrier frame. The machine also comprises a drawing element for exerting a force on the coupling frame, wherein the coupling frame, the carrier frame and the drawing element are interconnected in such a manner that a downward force component is exerted on the lower coupling points when the drawing element exerts a force on the coupling frame.

Flexible wing sections for a field cultivator

An agricultural tillage implement for use in a field. The agricultural tillage implement including a frame section and a plurality of wing sections. The frame section has a pull hitch extending in a travel direction. Each of the plurality of wing sections are coupled to the frame section and/or a wing section. The wing sections each have an articulated portion pivotal about an axis substantially perpendicular to the travel direction. The wing sections include a first wing section and a second wing section. The articulated portion of the first wing section pivoting independent of the articulated portion of the second wing section.

Draft linkage configuration

An agricultural tillage implement including a main frame section having a pull hitch tube extending in a travel direction, which may be a telescoping pull hitch tube, a plurality of pivotally coupled wing sections coupled with the main frame section, and a plurality of pivoting wing front shank frames. Draft linkage assemblies connect the plurality of pivotally coupled wing sections to the telescoping pull hitch tube, while allowing both the pivoting wing front shank frames and the plurality of pivotally coupled wing sections to articulate correctly. The main shank frame, the pivotal wing front shank frames, and the wing sections articulate from an operating configuration to a transport configuration.
