A method of manufacturing environmentally friendly interior and exterior building materials, includes: preparing agricultural waste of a lignocellulose-containing herbaceous plant; and subjecting the agricultural waste to immersion treatment using a functional immersion solution prepared by mixing purified water, an organic acid or an alkali salt thereof, and a composite natural extract and stirring the mixture.
COMPOSITE MEMBER
Provided is a composite member including: an inorganic matrix part made from an inorganic substance that includes at least one of a metal oxide or a metal oxide hydroxide as a main component, contains substantially no single metal and alloy, and is a diamagnetic substance or a paramagnetic substance; and a ferromagnetic material part that is present inside the inorganic matrix part, directly bonds with the inorganic substance making up the inorganic matrix part, and is made from a ferromagnetic substance. In the inorganic matrix part, particles of the inorganic substance are continuously present, and the inorganic matrix part has a larger volume ratio than that of the ferromagnetic material part.
MAGNETIZABLE CONCRETE COMPOSITE FOR ROAD-EMBEDDED WIRELESS POWER TRANSFER
A magnetizable concrete wireless power transfer pad can include a base, an inductive coil and a pillar. The base can comprise a magnetizable base concrete including concrete and first magnetizable particles, the first magnetizable particles having a magnetic permeability and a magnetic saturation. The inductive coil can be positioned directly adjacent and centered over the base, the inductive coil forming an inductive coil gap at its center inner perimeter between a conductive wire that form the inductive coil, the inductive coil having an outer perimeter, a lateral width, and a longitudinal length. The pillar can extend up from the base through the inductive coil gap, the pillar comprising a magnetizable pillar concrete including concrete and second magnetizable particles, the second magnetizable particles having a magnetic permeability and a magnetic saturation such that the base and the pillar collectively shape an external magnetic field produced by the inductive coil to increase the mutual coupling with a receiver pad, that way increasing the power transfer capabilities of the system.
STRAIN METHOD
Disclosed herein is a concrete material comprising between 0.5% and 10% ferromagnetic fibres. Also disclosed herein is a method for measuring the strain state of a concrete material, the method comprising forming solid concrete containing between 0.5% and 10% ferromagnetic fibres in a random distribution throughout the concrete, applying an oscillating EM current to the concrete, and detecting the associated EM fields within the concrete. Also disclosed herein is the use of an oscillating EM current field to measure the strain state within a concrete material comprising between 0.5% and 10% ferromagnetic fibres.

CONTRAST ENHANCEMENT AGENTS FOR SUBTERRANEAN TREATMENT FLUIDS
Systems and methods for detecting or monitoring treatment fluids in subterranean formations are provided. In certain embodiments, the methods comprise: providing an enhanced treatment fluid that comprises at least a base fluid and one or more contrast enhancement agents, which may include dielectric materials, magnetic materials, dispersive materials, and/or any combination thereof; and introducing the enhanced treatment fluid into at least a portion of a well bore penetrating a portion of a subterranean formation in the course of certain operations in the well bore.
MAGNETIC FLOOR SURFACE
The present invention is directed to a method for providing a surface, in particular a floor surface, with a layer of a magnetic and/or magnetizable cover composition, the surface having at least one layer of cementitious material, wherein the method comprises the step of spreading the layer of the cover composition onto the surface, the cover composition comprising a polymeric binder and magnetic and/or magnetizable particles, characterized in that the layer of the cover composition has a water vapor transmission rate of at least 0.25 g h.sup.1 m.sup.2 according to ASTM D1653, and the surface and/or the layer of cementitious material has a relative humidity of more than 75% according to ASTM F 2170-11.
Sintered ferrite magnet and its production method
A sintered ferrite magnet comprising metal elements of Ca, La, Fe and Co, whose atomic ratios are represented by the general formula of Ca.sub.1-xLa.sub.xFe.sub.2n-yCo.sub.y, wherein x and y, and n representing a molar ratio meet 0.3x0.6, 0.25y0.5, and 3n6, and further comprising 0.2% to 0.35% by mass of SiO.sub.2.
