Method of Manufacturing Recycled Asphaltic and Asphaltic Limestone Powder Pellets and Shapes through Densification
This invention relates to manufacturing briquettes, pellets and shapes from recycled asphaltic limestone powder derived from waste residential roofing products. Briquettes and pellets are manufactured through a densification process at varying temperatures, creating recycled asphalt pellets, asphalt limestone pellets and bio mass and coal fines briquettes. Various shapes, including curbs and posts, are manufactured through heat and pressure in molds. Seawalls, walkways and wall panels are manufactured by blending asphaltic limestone powders with polymer resins and extruded or pultruded into shapes.
Decorative panel, and decorative floor covering consisting of said panels
Decorative panel, in particular a floor panel, ceiling panel or wall panel, including a core layer having an upper side and a lower side, a decorative top layer connected to said upper side of the core layer, a first panel side edge including a first coupling profile, and a second panel side edge including a second coupling profile designed to interconnect with a first coupling profile of a second, identical panel, both in horizontal direction and in vertical direction. The core layer includes a layer of foam concrete which is constituted by a matrix of concrete material in which air pockets in the form of cells are present.
Structure protection sheet, concrete block, and method for manufacturing reinforced structure
The present invention provides a structure protection sheet capable of dramatically reducing a construction period to place protective layers on surfaces of structures such as concrete, protecting the structures for a long time, preventing swelling phenomena caused by water vapor inside the concrete, and preventing a decrease in attachability. The present invention relates to a structure protection sheet including: a polymer cement cured layer on a side facing a structure; and a resin layer on the polymer cement cured layer, the structure protection sheet having a water vapor transmission rate of 10 to 50 g/m.sup.2.Math.day.
Barrier, construction article and method of manufacture thereof
A barrier and method of manufacture thereof is provided. The barrier is suitable for enhancing the reaction to fire of structural elements such as construction boards.
Panel and method for producing a panel
The invention relates to a panel and a method for producing a panel. The panel is in particular a floor, wall or ceiling panel, and comprises at least one core layer, the core layer comprising an upper core surface and a lower core surface and at least one pair of opposite side edges; wherein the core layer comprises magnesium oxide cement; wherein the core has a density which is substantially homogenous over its entire volume, and wherein at least one decorative top layer is attached to an upper core surface of the core layer.
COATED STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS FOR CONSTRUCTION
A continuous flexible cement sheet roll for coating construction slabs, is disclosed. The sheet comprising a flexible cement layer, which has a thickness of between 0.3 to 6 mm, such as between 0.5 and 5 mm, and which comprises a) essentially inorganic mortar and b) up to 15% polymeric binder. When the amount of a component in a mixture is expressed in % units, the weight % of the component relative to the weight of the whole mixture is intended. The flexible cement sheet roll of the invention comprises, a reinforcing layer of a thickness lower than the thickness of said cement layer, selected from films of a nonwoven fabrics, layers of organic or inorganic fibers, polymer webs, chop strand mat, and fiberglass mats, among others.
Fiber cement products and methods for the production thereof
The present invention relates to fiber cement products comprising an inner core material, which inner core material is covered by at least one outer surface layer, characterized in that:said inner core material has a density of between about 0.4 and about 0.9 g/cm.sup.3 inclusive, and at least comprises cement and between 1 wt % and 70 wt % (with respect to the total dry weight of said inner core material) of a lightweight filler, andsaid at least one outer surface layer has a density of between about 0.9 and about 1.4 g/cm.sup.3 inclusive, and at least comprises fibers and cement.
CARBON-FOOTPRINT-REDUCED CONCRETE SLAB ON GROUND SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING SAME
A method of fabricating a concrete slab on ground system includes depositing wet geopolymer cement concrete on a ground substrate to generate a first slab. Wet Portland cement concrete is then deposited on the first slab to generate a second slab.
Modified calcium silicate board and surface treatment method and application thereof
The present disclosure discloses a modified calcium silicate board, and belongs to the technical field of floors and decorative boards. A modification method comprises steps of: dipping a calcium silicate board in a silicon dioxide solution with a solid content of 95% or more, completely absorbing the silicon dioxide solution until the calcium silicate board is saturated, and drying the dipped calcium silicate board; and carrying out sizing hardening on any surface of the modified calcium silicate board to obtain the calcium silicate board, so as to enable the triamine impregnated paper to be directly laminated with the calcium silicate board in a hot-pressing manner, and enable the surface bonding strength to reach 1 MPa; wood veneers, fireproof plates and other materials are subjected to coldbonding, the peeling strength of the product meets the requirements, and the practicability of the calcium silicate board is effectively improved.
GLASS FIBER REINFORCED GYPSUM BOARDS AND METHODS OF MAKING THEM
According to one embodiment, a gypsum-based slurry composition is disclosed. The gypsum-based slurry composition can include a precursor stucco component, a precursor reinforcement component comprising glass fibers coated with a glass fiber coating. The glass fiber coating can comprise PVOH, PVAC, hydrophilic silane, or a combination thereof.
