A dusting device comprising an elongated support pole having a lower end and an upper end. An elongated drive mechanism, having a lower end and an upper end is selectively pivotally secured to the upper end of the support pole. The drive mechanism includes an interior compartment which houses a battery and an electrical motor electrically connected to the battery. The electrical motor has a rotatable drive shaft which extends upwardly and outwardly from the upper end of the drive mechanism. A duster is secured to the upper end of the drive shaft for rotation therewith.

The preferred apparatus is also pivotal forward and rearward relative to the dust mop head so that the apparatus pivots forward and rearward with the handle when the handle pivots forward and rearward. The combination of the dust mop and debris-catching apparatus provide great versatility in mopping and debris-catching direction and orientation, including low to the floor under furniture, equipment, or other objects.

The first connecting member is constructed having a shield to prevent water from dripping down the extension members and into the power drill, and to prevent the guide member from sliding off the extension member when the extension member is not attached to the power drill.
