A dusting device comprising an elongated support pole having a lower end and an upper end. An elongated drive mechanism, having a lower end and an upper end is selectively pivotally secured to the upper end of the support pole. The drive mechanism includes an interior compartment which houses a battery and an electrical motor electrically connected to the battery. The electrical motor has a rotatable drive shaft which extends upwardly and outwardly from the upper end of the drive mechanism. A duster is secured to the upper end of the drive shaft for rotation therewith.

A lint removal device with a hollow handle, a tool head with head gears, brushes, rotation motor and gears, with the brushes in rotational mechanical communication with said tool head gears. The brushes work to remove lint from the lint compartment of a dryer in order to maintain the dryer in proper working order. If lint is not removed from most dryers, clothing placed in the dryer may not fully dry or the dryer might overheat and cause a fire. The present invention is designed to overcome these and other problems.

An apparatus traps items missed by standard manual floor cleaners, by catching debris that goes over a top surface of a floor cleaner head. The preferred apparatus is adapted for a conventional dust mop with a pivotal/swing handle, and has a connection system with an elongated vertical slot extending parallel to the right-to-left length of the dust mop head and allowing the pivotal/swing handle to freely slide right and left in the slot. The preferred apparatus is also pivotal forward and rearward relative to the dust mop head so that the apparatus pivots forward and rearward with the handle when the handle pivots forward and rearward. The combination of the dust mop and debris-catching apparatus provide great versatility in mopping and debris-catching direction and orientation, including low to the floor under furniture, equipment, or other objects.

A floor cleaning machine that includes a disc broom that is rotatable about a rotation axis. The disc broom has a base body, bristles and a cover element. The base body has a circumferential outer edge. The bristles are attached at one end to the base body and extend away from the base body towards a sweeping plane that is perpendicular to the rotation axis. The cover element has a shell that is made of a flexible material. The shell extends away from the base body and towards the sweeping plane. The shell has an inner side, which faces an interior of the shell, and an outer side that faces an exterior of the shell. The shell envelopes the bristles perpendicularly to the rotation axis such that the bristles are disposed in the interior of the shell. A related disc broom and sweeping device are also provided.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a broom cover attachment for attaching to a broom including a plurality of bristles. The broom cover attachment includes a handle attachment having a central unit, a hole in the central unit for receiving a handle of the broom, and a plurality of elastic bands attached to a surface between an outer circumference and an inner circumference of the central unit. Each of the plurality of elastic bands may include a first Velcro attachment. The broom cover attachment also includes a cloth including a number of second Velcro attachment attached to a surface of the cloth. The second Velcro attachments may be fastened to the first Velcro attachment of the elastic bands for covering the bristles of the broom.

An improved hand held apparatus used for dusting, cleaning, polishing, and similar tasks utilizing a lightweight conventional power drill having a rotating axle with a chuck to which is attached one or more elongated extension members telescoped within one another and fixed relative to one another by a clamping connector, the first extension member having a first connecting member at one end constructed to be inserted into and attachable to the chuck and a second member at the opposing end of the extension members constructed to be attachable to the head of a conventional dusting device. The apparatus further includes a foam covered tubular hand guide member fitted about the first extension member and constructed to slide along the first extension member. The first connecting member is constructed having a shield to prevent water from dripping down the extension members and into the power drill, and to prevent the guide member from sliding off the extension member when the extension member is not attached to the power drill.

A broom for clearing a surface is provided, and includes an elongate body having a first end and an opposite second end; a plurality of bristles extending downwardly from an attachment mechanism removably attached to the first end of the elongate body; and a reinforcer configured to be removably attached to a rear side of the attachment mechanism such that the reinforcer covers substantially all of the plurality of bristles when viewed from the rear side of the attachment mechanism.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a broom cover attachment for attaching to a broom including a plurality of bristles. The broom cover attachment includes a handle attachment having a central unit, a hole in the central unit for receiving a handle of the broom, and a plurality of elastic bands attached to a surface between an outer circumference and an inner circumference of the central unit. An illuminated utility handle is disclosed and is configured for coupling to various household work toss, such a broom, a mop, a paint brush/roller, a squeegee, or the like. The illuminated utility handle is formed as an elongate shaft having a proximal end and a distal end. The distal end has a coupling for securing the work tool to the illuminated utility handle and one or more lights disposed along the elongate shaft. The one or more lights are oriented to illuminate a work surface operated on by the attachment. A battery source may be carried in the handle and a power switch is operable to selectively activate the one or more lights. The battery source may be recharged by a charging port.
