Process for Producing a Colored Dental Zirconia Article
The invention relates to a process of producing a dental zirconia article, the process comprising the step of sintering a porous dental zirconia article, the sintering comprising a heat-treatment segment A characterized by a heating rate of at least 3 K/sec up to a temperature of at least 1,200° C., the porous dental zirconia article being composed of a zirconia material containing 6.0 to 8.0 wt. % yttria, 0.05 to 0.12 wt. % alumina and comprising a coloring component containing Tb, the porous dental zirconia article being essentially free of Fe components. The invention also relates to a process comprising the additional step of applying a glazing composition to the outer surface of the porous zirconia article before the heat-treatment or sintering is conducted.
Glazing Material
A glazing material for producing a glazed ceramic body, in which at a first temperature T.sub.1, the glazing material has a viscosity of more than 10.sup.2.5 Pa.Math.s, in particular more than 10.sup.4.0 Pa.Math.s, preferably more than 10.sup.5.6 Pa.Math.s and particularly preferably more than 10.sup.7.0 Pa.Math.s, and, which at a second temperature T.sub.2, which is higher than the first temperature, a viscosity of less than 10.sup.9 Pa.Math.s, in particular less than 10.sup.7 Pa.Math.s and preferably less than 10.sup.5.6 Pa.Math.s. The glazing material can be used for glazing a non-densely sintered substrate material.

A dental implant body includes a ceramics sintered body, and the ceramics sintered body is a porous body having blind/continuous holes formed from a surface of the ceramics sintered body and walls formed by the blind/continuous holes. The porosity of the blind/continuous holes may be 50±10%. Further, the diameter of the blind/continuous hole may be equal to or greater than 50 μm and equal to or smaller than 190 μm.

The present disclosure relates to a medical cement composition containing calcium silicate in an amount of less than 20 wt % of a total weight of the composition, with a lithium salt being added thereto. MULTILAYER ZIRCONIA CERAMIC BLOCK WITH UNIFORM TRANSITION AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME
The present disclosure belongs to the field of biological materials, and particularly relates to a multilayer zirconia ceramic with uniform transition and a method for preparing the same. The specific technical solution of the present disclosure is as follows: a zirconia ceramic with a formula comprising, in percentage by mass, 0-3% of lanthana, 1.5-16% of yttria, 0-2.5% of silicon carbide nano-whiskers, and 0-1.5% of a coloring agent, the balance being zirconia. Correspondingly provided are a multi-layer zirconia ceramic with uniform transition prepared using the formula and a method for preparing the same. By using the method of the present disclosure, multilayer zirconia ceramics with good and uniformly transitioning core properties can be quickly and conveniently prepared, meeting the requirements of patients with dental disorders on the use and esthetics of dentures.
Zirconia article with high alumina content, process of production and use thereof
The invention relates to a porous zirconia article in particular for use in the dental or orthodontic field, the porous zirconia article comprising ZrO.sub.2: 80 to 87 wt. %, Y.sub.2O.sub.3: 3 to 5 wt. %, Al.sub.2O.sub.3: 10 to 14 wt. %, wt. % with respect to the weight of the porous zirconia article, the porous zirconia article being characterized by a BET surface from 15 to 100 m.sup.2/g. The invention also relates to a sintered zirconia article in particular for use in the dental or orthodontic field, the sintered zirconia article comprising ZrO.sub.2: 80 to 87 wt. %, Y.sub.2O.sub.3: 3 to 5 wt. %, Al.sub.2O.sub.3: 10 to 14 wt. %, wt. % with respect to the weight of the porous zirconia article, the sintered zirconia article being characterized by a corundum crystal phase content of 7 to 12 wt. % and a flexural strength of at least 2,000 MPa.

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a zirconia block for a dental prosthesis having a layered color gradient by a water absorption rate, in which the permeation degree of a coloring solution is controlled by setting a different particle size of powder for each layer of the zirconia block on the basis of the property that the amount of water absorption per hour is differentiated according to the particle size of powder, and as a result, the zirconia block is constituted so as to realize an esthetically excellent resultant product with the same color as natural teeth without carrying out the existing coloring liquid process for zirconia.
