The backing member is configured to rotate with the stem portion about an axis of rotation defined by the centerline of the stem portion. A plurality of media elements are secured to the backing member with the plurality of media elements being constructed of a generally self-supporting, non-marring material and wherein the plurality of media elements are oriented generally perpendicular to the backing member. The plurality of media elements configured to rotate in a working plane defined by the backing member and the working plane is oriented generally perpendicularly to the axis of rotation. Additionally, the plurality of media elements are configured during a wash process to contact at least an exterior painted surface of a vehicle to effectuate cleaning thereof.
BRUSH FOR WASHING PLANT
A brush for a vehicle washing system comprising: flexible elements (2) intended to come into contact with the vehicle for cleaning and/or polishing and/or drying; a central annular support (3) from which the flexible elements (2) extend; a shaft (4) rotating about its own axis (40) of rotation, said shaft (4) crossing said central support (3) and placing said central support (3) in rotation about said axis (40) of rotation.
The central support (3) comprises a lateral surface (35), from which the flexible elements (2) extend, which is inclined with respect to the axis (40) of rotation of the shaft (4).
Tool-less spring attachment to C-channel and method of using same
A method and device for attaching and detaching material to a c-channel groove without requiring tools and without needing to access an end of the c-channel. The device comprises a coil-shaped element that is resiliently compressible and connected to a desired material. Through biasing or twisting the coil-shaped element, it is insertable at any point along a c-channel groove. The coil-shaped element is secured within the c-channel groove against separation therefrom through friction. A portion of the coil-shaped element can be extended outside of the c-channel groove for easy removal.
Reverse rotation side washer for vehicles including a shaft assembly and retrofit discs
Embodiments include a vehicle side washer assembly, a shaft assembly, and horizontal cloth brush panels. The side washer assembly includes a retractable angled primary arm, a retractable secondary arm, a shaft assembly having an upright shaft, and horizontal cloth brush panels. The upright shaft is disposed through a shaft attachment region of each of the horizontal cloth brush panels. The shaft assembly includes an upright shaft including notches and protrusions, and retrofit discs each including a shaft opening that matches contours of the upright shaft. Each of the retrofit discs includes rotary notches. The horizontal cloth brush panels each include flat fingers, a contiguous central region, and a brush shaft opening cut to match contours of the upright shaft. The horizontal cloth brush panels rotate in a reverse rotation with a direction of travel of a vehicle, and can be mixed and matches with various sizes and shapes.
BRUSH FOR DRYING AND/OR WASHING VEHICLES
A brush for drying and/or washing a vehicle may include a rotating shaft rotatable around a rotation axis thereof and drying/cleaning means for drying/cleaning the vehicle. The brush may also include a first rotatable support plate for supporting the drying/cleaning means. The first plate may be traversed by the shaft and constrained on the shaft in an operating configuration. In some embodiments, a fictional lying plane of the first plate and the rotation axis form an angle other than 90 degrees. The brush may also include a connector to connect the drying/cleaning means to the first plate and positioning means for positioning the first plate in the operating configuration.
Vehicle Washing Device
A vehicle washing device for cleaning a vehicle includes a handgrip, which is attached to a first end of an elongate handle. A pump is attached to the handgrip and is in fluidic communication with a reservoir that contains a cleaning solution. Each of a plurality of brush heads is attachable to a second end of the elongate handle so that the brush head is in fluidic communication with the pump. A battery is attachable to the handgrip to power the pump to motivate the cleaning solution from the reservoir to the brush head. A switch on the handgrip and is operationally engaged to the battery and the pump. The handgrip is grasped in a hand of a user, positioning the user to manipulate the brush head on a surface and to switch the switch to actuate the pump so that the cleaning solution is applied to the surface.
Rotating brush
A rotating brush for a vehicle washing system, comprising: i) a shaft (2) rotatable about a rotation axis (20) thereof; ii) a first annular support means (31) surrounding a first section (21) of said shaft (2) and comprising a first group (310) of longitudinal seats; said first support means (31) extending along the rotation axis (20) between a first and a second base (316, 317); let a first direction (318) of travel of the first group (310) of longitudinal seats be defined by the first towards the second base (316, 317), each of the longitudinal seats of the first group (310) comprising a first and a second end (312, 313); iii) a first set (41) of cleaning elements engageable in the first group (310) of longitudinal seats.
CLEANING UNIT AND CLEANING ARRANGEMENT FOR VEHICLE TIRES
A cleaning arrangement for cleaning vehicle tires is disclosed. The cleaning arrangement includes at least one cleaning module. The cleaning module has a frame with walls, a floor and a collection space for contaminants and one or more cleaning units above the collection space. The cleaning unit has a grate arrangement and a plurality of bristle rails as well as intermediate rails transverse to the direction of travel of the vehicle. At least a portion of the rails are secured to the grate arrangement by flexible arrangements that flex as the vehicle passes over the rails, causing the rails to tilt and vibrate the tire, thereby enhancing the release of contaminants from the tires.
SKIRT BRUSH MECHANISM WITH NOVEL STRUCTURE
