Collapsible gantry car wash
A gantry style car wash assembly is disclosed. The car wash assembly has two opposing support pillars, a transverse gantry member, first and second opposed wall segments, and a brush mounted about a shaft. The transverse gantry member extends between the two opposing support pillars, and is moveable up and down relative to said two opposing support pillars. Each of the first and second opposed walls defines a portion of two opposing channels. The first and second removable wall segments are removably mountable above the first and second wall segments. Each wall segment includes a vertical extension channel that extends one of the two opposing channels substantially to said transverse gantry member. The brush extends between said first and second pillars, and that is mounted within said two opposing channels for upward and downward movement of said brush.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CLEANING AND PRECISION MACHINING OF WORKPIECES
A device for cleaning or precision machining of workpieces comprises a housing; a central roller having two ends supported by means of rotary bearings on carriers fixed on the housing; a first roller having a first end connected to one of the carriers by a joint and having a second end supported by means of a rotary bearing; a second roller having a first end connected to another one of the carriers by a joint and having a second end supported by means of a rotary bearing; a drive motor for rotatingly driving the first and second rollers and the central roller for treating a workpiece; a suction device for removing particles from the rollers; and at least a first and a second pinion gear coupled to the first and second rollers for angularly adjusting the first and second rollers with respect to said central roller.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CLEANING A TRACTOR-TRAILER
An apparatus and method for cleaning a large object such as a tractor-trailer. The apparatus is a cleaning vehicle including a frame with a plurality of wheels mounted thereon that allow the frame to move from one location to another across the ground. An arm mounted on the frame includes arm portions that may be telescoped to longitudinally, transversely, or vertically adjust the length of the arm portions. At least one rotatable brush is operatively engaged with the arm. The vehicle is positioned adjacent the large object and the arm is adjusted to position the at least one brush adjacent a surface to be cleaned. The arm portions are actuated to change length and thereby move the brush across the object's surface to clean the same. If two brushes are provided on the arm they may be moved toward or away from each other to clean two surfaces simultaneously.
TOOL FOR ATTACHING A REPLACEABLE TREATMENT HEAD TO A WASH MEDIA ELEMENT
A tool for attaching a treatment head to a wash media element of a vehicle wash component includes a nose portion and a handle portion. The nose portion is sized to pass through an opening in the wash media element. The nose portion includes a slot for receiving and retaining a base portion of the treatment head to secure it to the wash media element such that the nose portion and treatment portion are disposed on opposite sides of the wash media element.
Powered ice scraping assembly
A powered ice scraping assembly includes an ice scraper that is selectively manipulated thereby facilitating the ice scraper to frictionally abrade ice from a surface. A brushing unit is coupled to the ice scraper and the brushing unit includes a motor and a plurality of bristles. The motor is in mechanical communication with each of the bristles. Moreover, the motor rotates the bristles when the motor is turned on thereby facilitating the bristles to brush snow from the surface.
Hitch receiver brush
A brush for a trailer hitch receiver. The brush includes a head shaped to conform to an interior channel of a trailer hitch receiver. This allows the brush to be used to clean the interior of a trailer hitch receiver, which is generally challenging to clean. In various embodiments, the head of the brush can be integral with the shaft. In other embodiments, the brush can include multiple interchangeable heads so that the cleaning tool can be used for multiple different types or sizes of trailer hitch receivers.
Windshield cleaning implement
A cleaning implement includes an elongated, arcuate shaft having a handle at a proximal end and a cleaning head at a distal end. The cleaning head includes a plurality of juxtaposed, removable attachments, such as a sponge, a scrubbing brush and one or more wiper blades. The shaft is constructed with a resilient but slightly pliable material so that a user can simultaneously force the sponge, brush and blades against a windshield by applying a predetermined amount of force to the handle.
PAD ELEMENT FOR A ROTARY BRUSH VEHICLE WASH COMPONENT
A component for a vehicle wash system includes a rotatable stem portion and a backing member in communication with the rotatable stem portion. The backing member is configured to rotate with the stem portion about an axis of rotation defined by the centerline of the stem portion. A plurality of media elements are secured to the backing member with the plurality of media elements being constructed of a generally self-supporting, non-marring material and wherein the plurality of media elements are oriented generally perpendicular to the backing member. The plurality of media elements configured to rotate in a working plane defined by the backing member and the working plane is oriented generally perpendicularly to the axis of rotation. Additionally, the plurality of media elements are configured during a wash process to contact at least an exterior painted surface of a vehicle to effectuate cleaning thereof.
Battery Cleaning Tool
A battery cleaning tool includes a tool body having first and second ends; an elongated cleaning head extending from the first end; and a hollow head having an interior surface with cleaning particles projecting from the interior surface toward a center of the hollow head.
