A cleaning device includes a chassis that can be moved over a ground surface. The cleaning device further includes a space in which a roller-shaped brush provided with bristles is arranged in a rotatable manner about an axle in such a way that the ground can be brushed therewith. The space is connected to an outlet channel for the removal of material brushed away by the bristles. An air channel is arranged in the brush and coaxially with the axle. The air channel has a series of openings directed towards the outlet channel and open between the bristles.

A gutter broom is provided. The gutter broom can include a mandrel, one or more carriers, each carrier removably coupled to the mandrel, and one or more bristle strips, each bristle strip removably coupled to one of the carriers. The gutter broom components can be recyclable and modular, requiring no tools for assembly or servicing.

The bristles can have a first stiffness or a second stiffness different than the first stiffness. Snow removal machines are provided that have an auger assembly for directing snow rearwards to be received by a discharge chute, and an auxiliary snow moving assembly for directing snow rearwards to be received by the discharge chute. The auger assembly has auger blade(s) coupled to an auger axle for rotation therewith about a first axis defined by the auger axle. The auxiliary snow moving assembly has snow moving member(s) coupled to an auxiliary axle for rotation therewith about a second axis defined by the auxiliary axle. The auxiliary axle is lower and rearwards of the auger axle towards the discharge chute; and an auxiliary drive assembly is configured to rotationally couple the auxiliary axle to the auger axle such that rotation of the auxiliary axle is driven by rotation of the auger axle.

The present disclosure relates generally to an apparatus for cleaning or otherwise treating a floor or ground surface. Devices provided herein include various features to enhance the efficiency and efficacy of cleaning operations. Such devices includes, but are not limited to, bearing protector devices, cord and cable management devices, and ergonomic features useful with ride-on floor treating machines.

An automated road sweeper is provided including transport apparatus suitable to allow the sweeper to travel on a road surface including debris, a plurality of cleaning members arranged at fixed points located in different portions of the sweeper and suitable for cleaning within predetermined cleaning areas, and a selector operatively connected to the cleaning members, suitable for scanning the road surface and locating the debris so as to select and exclusively operate the cleaning members, the cleaning area of which covers the debris during the movement of the sweeper.

A bracket system for attaching a brush to the blades of a rotary lawn mower. The bracket system has a brush attachment, at least one clamp, and a fastening device. The brush attachment has a brush, an elongated vertical slot, and a flange. The at least one clamp is placed around a non-linear lawn mower blade and is secured to the flange by the fastening device. Securing the clamp to the flange by the fastening device secures the brush attachment to the non-linear mower blade. Securing or removing the fastening device allows the attachment or removal of the brush attachment from the clamps, and thus the non-linear mower blade.

A cleaning machine may include: a first brush comprising a first brush shaft extending in a left-right direction and a first brush body held by the first brush shaft; a second brush comprising a second brush shaft extending in the left-right direction and a second brush body held on the second brush shaft; a brush supporting member supporting each of the first brush and the second brush such that the first brush and the second brush are rotatable; a body supporting the brush supporting member such that the brush supporting member is pivotable; and a pivot mechanism configured to pivot the brush supporting member with respect to the body. At least the first brush may move with respect to the body in an up-down direction when the brush supporting member pivots with respect to the body.
