Gutter broom
A gutter broom is provided. The gutter broom can include a mandrel, one or more carriers, each carrier removably coupled to the mandrel, and one or more bristle strips, each bristle strip removably coupled to one of the carriers. The gutter broom components can be recyclable and modular, requiring no tools for assembly or servicing.
Chip sweeping robot
There is provided a chip sweeping robot which is capable of possessing adaptability to various machine tools and automatically sweeping a wide range efficiently. To this end, a chip sweeping robot configured to sweep chips, which are scattered on an upper surface of a table of a machine tool at the time of machining a workpiece attached to the table, by traveling in accordance with a travel route set on the upper surface, includes: a robot body which autonomously travels on the upper surface; a rotating brush which sweeps the chips out forward in a traveling direction by being rotated from a lower side to an upper side forward in the traveling direction; and a blade which scoops out the chips, which pass through the rotating brush, forward in the traveling direction and sends the chips to a rotating region of the rotating brush.
ROADWAY SWEEPER WITH MULTIPLE SWEEPING MODES
A roadway or pavement sweeper with multiple sweeping modes for the removal of debris from a swept surface may, in some embodiments, include a sweeper vehicle having a pair of side-brooms independently movable between a retracted and extended position for sweeping debris into an area therebetween and at least one material-transfer broom to sweep a portion of the debris accumulated between the side-brooms as the vehicle moves in its direction of travel. A fan-driven suction-inlet may be provided at or adjacent each side of the vehicle. The at least one material-transfer broom may rotate in a first or other direction to transfer debris for entrainment into a selected suction-inlet for transfer to a debris hopper. Other embodiments are also described.
Curb sweeper apparatus for blade-carrying machines
A curb sweeping apparatus for releasable engagement with a blade of a blade-carrying machine such as a motor grader, for example, the blade being arcuate in cross-section and having a top edge and a bottom cutting edge, the sweeping apparatus being comprised of a height and depth adjustable mounting assembly, a carrier frame fixedly connected to the mounting assembly, and a motor-driven rotary sweeper comprised of a sweeper brush assembly rotatably mounted to the carrier frame and a sweeper motor mounted to the carrier frame and operably coupled to the sweeper brush assembly.
BRUSH FOR MAINTENANCE OF INDOOR AND OUTDOOR PADEL TURFS
A padel turf sand brush (1) and method for maintenance of padel turfs. The brush (1) comprises a base member (2). The brush (1) further comprises a brush shaft (7). The brush (1) further comprises a first (9) and a second elongated brush portion (10). The first (9) and the second elongated brush portion (10) interact when the brush (1) is in use by being moved on top of the surface of the padel turf, such that the padel turf sand is transferred from areas of the padel turf having too much sand to areas of the padel turf having too little sand, as some of the sand being brushed stays in front, in the direction of travel, of the first (9) and the second elongated brush portion (10), for a certain period of time.
Floor cleaning implement with improved driving interface for use with a floor maintenance machine
A floor cleaning implement, such as a disc brush, for use in a floor maintenance machine includes a core providing a female portion of a mating interface. The female portion has a central recess with a plurality of pockets extending radially outward from the central recess. Each of the plurality of pockets has a head section that is radially distal from the central recess and has a neck section that is radially intermediate the respective head section and the central recess. Each head section is wider in an angular direction than the corresponding neck section.
Floating brush sweeper
This invention relates to an industrial street sweeper and especially to a street sweeper having a floating sweeper brush which floats or rides over obstacles in the surface being cleaned.
UTILITY WHISKER BROOM
A first work tool arm is rotatably attached to a frame or reference structure, a second work tool arm rotatably attached to the first work tool arm, and a work tool attached to an end of the second work tool arm. An actuator and a spring are each rotatably attached to the second work tool arm and configured such that separate movement of the first work tool arm relative to the frame or reference structure and movement of the second work tool arm and work tool relative to the first work tool arm are achieved with actuation of the actuator.
Strip Brush Assembly Having Metal and Polymer Bristles and Method of Making
A strip brush assembly with a plurality of elongated polymer bristles forming a section and a plurality of elongated metal bristles forming another section adjacent the polymer bristles section, such that the metal bristles section is supported by the polymer bristles section. The polymer and metal bristles are bonded and encapsulated in a base formed by direct extrusion onto and around the polymer and metal bristles to secure them to the formed base. The strip brush assembly may be used on a tubular mandrel of a street sweeper.
Automated road sweeper and road cleaning method using said road sweeper
An automated road sweeper is provided including transport apparatus suitable to allow the sweeper to travel on a road surface including debris, a plurality of cleaning members arranged at fixed points located in different portions of the sweeper and suitable for cleaning within predetermined cleaning areas, and a selector operatively connected to the cleaning members, suitable for scanning the road surface and locating the debris so as to select and exclusively operate the cleaning members, the cleaning area of which covers the debris during the movement of the sweeper.
