A method for lengthening lashes is provided, along with a kit for accomplishing the method. The method comprises (i) applying a glue onto an eyelash, (ii) allowing the glue to dry for a period of time; and then (iii) depositing a separate individual fiber onto a distal portion of the eyelash using a microbristle brush applicator having a bristle density above 4 bristles/mm.sup.2, where each fiber has a diameter greater than 30 microns and a length of 4 mm or less and each fiber is held electrostatically by the microbristle brush applicator. Mascara can then be applied to some or all of the lash and attached fiber.

A multi-functional hair brush comprising an elongate body including a handle segment and a bristle segment. The bristle segment of the multi-functional hair brush includes at least two types or styles of bristles, each performing a separate and different function in styling hair. In one embodiment, the multi-functional hair brush includes a round brush bristled in two different ways to perform two different functions. The two different brislings may include first bristles on a first half of the round brush to start and straighten a difficult hair, and second bristles on a second and opposite half of the round brush to finish styling the hair. In another embodiment, the handle segment of the hair brush includes an off-set handle. The off-set handle provides improved feel and comfort in handling the hair brush while styling hair.

An interdental cleaning tool capable of reducing possibility of a cleaning portion being detached from a shaft portion includes a base portion including a shaft portion (20) having a shape insertable in an interdental space, and a cleaning portion (50) that covers at least a portion of the shaft portion and is capable of cleaning an interdental space. The base portion further includes a protruding portion (40) that protrudes from a covered portion (22) in a direction intersecting the shaft portion (20), the covered portion (22) being a portion of the shaft portion (20) and covered by the cleaning portion (50).

A method of whitening teeth. The method may include delivering a buffer solution from a reservoir of a toothbrush to one or more tooth cleaning elements of the toothbrush; applying a toothpaste containing a peroxide to the tooth cleaning elements, the toothpaste having a first pH; and brushing the teeth with the tooth cleaning elements, thereby mixing the buffer solution and the toothpaste to form, at surfaces of the teeth, a tooth whitening mixture having a second pH that is greater than the first pH.

A cosmetic bottle with replaceable internal components includes a cover, two buttons, two inner connecting members, a brush rod, an inner bottle, a clamping ring, and an outer bottle that are coaxially arranged. A first button is placed in a first inner connecting member. The cover is sleeved on the first inner connecting member. One end of the rod body of the brush rod is provided with a head, and the other end of the rod body is fixedly connected to a brush head. The present invention relates to a toothbrush comprising a head portion comprising a cleaning formation for cleaning teeth in use. A handle portion is connected to the head portion. The toothbrush comprises a musical wind instrument, the wind instrument comprising a resonant cavity extending within one or both of the head portion and the handle portion, and an air inlet operatively connected to the cavity and configured to induce resonance with the cavity by exhalation from the user in use.
